I started making homemade baguettes this year and it’s been a labor of love ever since.The baguettes get one long cut down the middle before baking in a hot oven.I’m still amazed by the simplicity of this bread. Flour, yeast, salt and water. That’s it!When they just come out of the oven, you can hear them crackling as they cool.These baguettes will be shared with close friends... but I plan to save one to enjoy with sweet potato soup!
