からあげ at Yokato Yokabai

Yokato Yokabai ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ 7/10

いぇい！最初の旅先は Yokato Yokabai でした。トレンディ―なマウントロイヤル駅から５分にあるこのレストランのラーメンはとても美味しくて、スタッフもフレンドリーです🤗 プラトーに行ったら、是非行ってください！唐揚げ($5+tax)も美味しかったです。星7つです！

Woohoo our first destination was Yokato Yokabai. They are 5 minutes away from the trendy Mont-Royal station, and have amazing ramen and offer friendly service🤗  One of the must-go places on the Plateau! Their Kara-age ($5 + tax) was great, and we give them 7 out of 10 for the following reasons.

唐揚げは、外がパリパリで、中はとってもジューシー😋 そして、1ピースもかなり大きめ！しかし、ソースはちょっと酸っぱすぎて、ねぎもあまり新鮮ではなかったのが残念。

Their Kara-age is very crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside😋  Also, each piece is quite big! However we did not really like the sauce, as it was a bit too sour, and the green onions were not fresh.

豚骨ラーメンと、ピリ辛マヨネーズと一緒に食べるごぼうフライもとてもおいしかったです🍴

We had Tonkotsu Ramen as well as fried gobo (burdock root) served with spicy mayo, both of which were fantastic🍴

からあげの旅人な私たちですが、Ripples のめっちゃおいしいアイスを食べずに帰るわけがないでしょう🍨💓 アイスの種類が多くて、スタッフもとてもフレンドリーで、値段も高すぎません（Sサイズのアイス2種類で $3.5 ぐらいです）。マイナス面が一個だけ、そのお店はとても小さいので、夏はいつも長い行列ができています！

Our day cannot end without yummalicious ice-cream at Ripples 🍨💓 They have a great selection of flavours, the service is very friendly and the price is relatively cheap (about $3.5 including tax for two small scoops on a regular cone). The only downside is that the place is too small, so the line of ice-cream freaks typically gets quite long during the summer!
