あだち幸氏の、慈悲深い「不動明王三部作」が奉納される　 Mrs. Sachi Adachi's benevolent "Fudo Myoo Trilogy" is dedicated

手書き友禅染の独特の技法で仏画を描く、友禅画家のあだち幸さん(岡山県井原市)が先月の28日、広島県廿日市市宮島町の真言宗御室（おむろ）派大聖院に、「不動明王三部作」のひとつである、黄金の輝きを放つ不動明王を奉納した。
 
Yuzen painter Adachi Sachi (Ihara City, Okayama Prefecture), who draws Buddhist paintings using the unique technique of hand-painted Yuzen dyeing, was invited to the Shingon Sect Omuro School Daishouin in Miyajima Town, Hirohi City, Hiroshima Prefecture on the 28th of last month. Dedicated Fudo Myo, one of the "trilogy", which gives off a golden glow.

2019年10月には、不動明王三部作の「不動明王－Ⅱ」が修験道門跡の聖護院京都に奉納され、昨年の6月に「不動明王－Ⅰ」は世界遺産の京都・仁和寺に奉納されたことは紹介したが、それに続いて今回、「不動明王－Ⅲ」が宮島の大聖院(広島)への奉納が果たされた。
 
In October 2019, "Fudo Myo-II", a trilogy of Fudo Myo, was dedicated to the Kyoto Shougoin, the site of the Shukendo , and in June of last year, "Fudo Myo-I" became a world heritage site at Niwa-ji Temple in Kyoto. I introduced that it was dedicated, but this time, "Fudo Myoo-III" was dedicated to Miyajima's Daishouin (Hiroshima).
 
あだち幸さんがこれらの大作不動明王を描くきっかけになったのは、2011年のあの東日本大震災。大震災による大災害や、それによる福島第一原発事故の悲惨な状況に心を痛め、“怒り”と“鎮魂”の強い思いを込め描き始めた。三部作ともご覧のとおり、何かに向かって踏み込んでいくような迫力がある。

京都聖護院に奉納された不動明王－Ⅱ（高さ2.18ｍ×幅2.25ｍ）は、炎の中に包まれる不動明王の勇ましい顔に、頭の群青が澄み渡る青空のようにも透き通る海の色にも見えてくる。
Fudo Myo-II (height 2.18m x width 2.25m) dedicated to the Kyoto Shougoin has the brave face of Fudo Myo wrapped in flames and the clear blue sky of the head. Can also be seen.

聖護院京都に奉納された「不動明王－Ⅱ」

仁和寺に奉納された不動明王－Ⅰ(横4.8m×縦2.7m)の屏風画で、炎に包まれる不動明王がもつ剣と太陽が青で表現されている。大屏風の中から不動明王が、多くの痛みや苦しみを救ってくれるかのような慈悲の姿に見える。
Fudo Myoo-I (width 4.8m x height 2.7m) devoted to Niwa-ji Temple, the sword and sun of Fudo Myoo wrapped in flames are expressed in blue. From the great wind, Fudo Myo seems to be merciful as if he could save a lot of pain and suffering.

世界遺産 仁和寺に奉納された「不動明王ーⅠ」

そして、不動明王－Ⅲ(横1.35ｍ×縦2.7ｍ)は軸装されている。群青の中に黄金の不動明王が浮き上がっている。勇ましい顔ではあるが、多くの喜びを享受することができる慈悲深い不動明王のように見えてくる。
And Fudo Myoo-III (width 1.35m x length 2.7m) is mounted on a axis. The golden Fudo Myo is floating in the ultramarine. Although Fudo Myoo has a brave face, he looks like a benevolent Fudo Myo who can enjoy a lot of joy.

宮島の大聖院に奉納された「不動明王－Ⅲ」

不動明王の三部作の最後を飾った「不動明王－Ⅲ」の奉納式が5月28日に大聖院で行われ、吉田座主(仁和寺宗務総長)よりあだち幸さんに感謝状が贈られた。同作品は引き続き常設されている。これらの三部作は各寺院で一般公開されているので、ご高覧ください。

The dedication ceremony of "Fudo Myoo-III", which marked the end of the Fudo Myoo trilogy, was held at the Daishouin on May 28, and a letter of appreciation was given to Mrs. Sachi Adachi by the lord Yoshida (President of Niwaji Sect).
