梅妻鶴子で風雅に暮らす、林和靖。 【梅と鶴】 Lin Wasei who lived elegantly with Baisai Kakushi.

前回の記事に引き続き、今回も「鶴」をテーマにした内容である。ある人物が鶴をわが子のように愛したストーリーである。
お軸などの絵に鶴と梅、そして、そこに人物が描かれていたら、その人は、中国・北宋時代の詩人「林和靖(りんわせい)」と思って間違いない。梅を妻とし鶴を子として西湖の孤山で過ごしたといわれている。

Continuing from the previous article, this time, the theme is "crane". It is a story about a person who loved a crane like a child.
If a crane, a plum, and a person are drawn on a picture such as an axis, it is certain that he is the poet “Linwasei” in the Northern Song Dynasty of China. It is said that he spent time with a Ume as a wife and a crane as a child on the Mt.Kozan in Saiko.

その林和靖の生活ぶりが、「梅妻鶴子(ばいさいかくし)」という中国の四文字故事につながったといわれている。俗世を離れ、清らかで風流な隠棲生活をする人が、妻の代わりに梅を愛し、子の代わりに鶴を愛で一人で清らかに暮らす様を表している。

It is said that Linwasei's lifestyle led to the four-character Chinese story of "Baisai Kakushi". It shows that a person who has gone away from the popular world and lives cleanly and elegant life loves plums instead of wife and loves cranes instead of child.

しかし、お軸(写真)の中に肝心の梅が見当たらない。鶴も梅も両方描いたらどこにもある絵になってしまう。お軸の中に描かれていないから面白い。茶席ならお軸の横に梅の木を添えて風雅を楽しむ。
今回は、梅探しをしてみたが見当たらない。

However, I can't find the plum blossoms in the axis (pictured). If you draw both cranes and plums, it becomes an ordinary picture that exist everywhere. It is interesting because it is not drawn on the axis. For tea ceremony, you can enjoy plum blossoms by plum tree next to the axis.
I tried searching for plums this time, but I can't find it.

さて、漢詩を紐解いていくと、

Now, as you unravel the Chinese poetry,

有梅無雪不精神
有雪無詩俗了人
薄暮詩成天又雪
興梅併作十分春

という詩がボードに書かれていた。よく見るとこの詩の中に、「梅」がある。お軸にも添えた梅の木もないがボードの中にあった。すべてが揃ったわけである。
こんな風流な愉しみ方も乙なものである。

The poem was written on the board. If you look closely, you can see "ume" in this poem. There was no plum tree attached to the axis, but it was on the board. That's all.
This kind of tasteful enjoyment is also a good thing.

The translation of Chinese poetry is

梅が咲いていても雪が降ってないと風景が生き生きとしたものにならない。
雪が積もっていても詩心がないようではせっかくの風景も平凡なものになってしまう。
夕暮れの時、詩ができ雪が降ってきた。梅と雪と詩を合わせると春の趣が十分に味わえる。

Even if the plum blossoms bloom, the scenery will not come alive if it does not snow.
Even if the snow is piled up, it seems that there is no poetry and the scenery will become mediocre.
At dusk, poetry was made and it was snowing. You can fully enjoy the taste of spring by combining plum, snow and poetry.
