Effects of Copying （書き写しの効果）

I'm currently working on copying to improve my writing skills as a writer. Copying is one of the most effective way to improve your writing skills, and I think all writers do it.

The three contents that I'm corrently copying are "Tensei Jingo," "Poeties of Kaneko Misuzu," and "Hyakunin Isshu."

Tensei Jingo is Japan's most famous newspaper columun, appearing on the front page of the Asahi Shinbun. The quality of the sentence is said to be the best in Japan, and many writers have copied out this article.

When I actually treid it, I realized how high the quality of the sentence is and this is the kind of sentence that can make money.

But, when I was copying out Tensei Jingo, a problem occured. The thing is, the more I do it, the darker it gets. 

The contents of the article are that if you look at it positively, satire, but if you look at it negatively, a criticism of someone (mainly a politician).  I was affected by negative emotions because of it.

So after that, I started copying out poeties of Kaneko Misuzu or "Hyakunin Isshu." The purpose is to regain emotional feelings. When I actually tried it, this is really good, and copying it down brought about some wonderful emotions.

When I copy out poeties of Kaneko Misuzu, the world she saw in a flash unfolds in my mind, and when I copy out Hyakunin Isshu, I get the feeling of having traveled back in time to the Heian period. I also think that the rich emotions I acquire through copying out their will come in handy when I write sentences.

In this way, I'd like to improve my writting skills and the ability to make money by copying out Tensei Jingo, and to improve my expessive ability by copying out poetries.

I'll keep plugging away and become able to write good sentences.

書き写しの効果

私は、ライターとしての文章力を上げるために、書き写し（ライター業界では、俗に「写経」と言われていること）を行なってます。書き写しは文章力を上げるために最も有効な手段の一つで、ライターであればみんなやっていることだと思います。

私が現在行なっているのは、「天声人語」「金子みすゞの詩」「百人一首」の３つです。

天声人語は、朝日新聞の一面にある日本で最も有名な新聞コラムです。文章の質は日本一と言われていて、多くのライターさんがこの記事の写経をしています。

私も実際にやってみると、文章としての質の高さと、お金を産める文章というのはこういう文章なんだなというのを実感しました。

ただ、天声人語の写経をしていると、一つ困ったことが起こりました。それは、やっているとだんだん心が荒んでくることです。

記事の内容は良く言えば風刺ですが、ストレートに言えば誰かへの批判です。なのでそれを写経していると、批判的なネガティブな感情の影響を受けるのです。

そこで私は、その後に金子みすゞの詩や百人一首の写経をするようにしました。目的は、情緒的な感情を取り戻すためです。実際にやってみたらこれがすごく良くて、書き写すことによってとても素敵な感情が湧いてきました。

金子みすゞの詩を書き写すと金子みすゞの見た世界がパッと頭の中に広がってきますし、百人一首を書き写すと平安時代にタイムスリップした気分になれました。そして、書き写しによって身についた豊かな感情は、文章を書くときにも活きると思います。

このように、天声人語の書き写しで文章力とお金を産む力を、詩の書き写しによって表現力を身に付けていきたいです。

これからも、良い文章が書けるようになるようにコツコツと努力を続けていけたらと思っています。
