R.E. Award 2024の受賞アーティスト 入江早耶の個展を開催します。本展では、入江がインドネシア／ジョグジャカルタのアートスペース「ASP」での滞在を通して制作した作品を展示します。また会期中は、ASPでの滞在経験や作品制作についてのアーティストトークや、日々の思い出をモニュメントへ作り替える「超・粘土日記」というワークショップを実施する予定です。ぜひお越しください。

入江早耶
現代美術家。二次元のイメージを消しゴムで消し、その消しカスを用いて三次元の立体を作る消しカス彫刻家として知られる。日常的な存在となっている図像を自らの手で一旦消し去り、現実の空間に塑像として作り上げる作品は、表象との関わりを巡る現代的な問題をユーモラスに提起している。兵庫県立美術館での個展や、瀬戸内国際芸術祭への出品、ISCP・ニューヨークでのレジデンスなど国内外で活躍している。

■アーティストトーク
ASP（インドネシア／ジョグジャカルタ）でのレジデンスの報告や、作品について解説します。ジョグジャカルタの生活にまつわるクイズやAIRに関する素朴なギモンにもお答えしますので、お気軽にご参加ください。
■超・粘土日記
参加費｜1,000円
対象｜誰でもOK。小学生以下の方は保護者と共同制作も可

持ち物｜エプロン、もしくは汚れてもいい服装
日常の思い出を題材に、手作りのモニュメントを制作してみませんか。モニュメントといっても「昨日食べたものは･･･」といった気軽なものでOK。その思い出を柔らかい粘土によって立体的な日記に造形します。タイトルの「超」は超現実的という意味で、シュルレアリスムの方法を援用しています。作品の一部を大げさに表現したり、誇張することでユーモアのある作品を作ることができます。このワークショップでは、楽しかった思い出をもっと印象深いものに仕上げたり、日ごろのモヤモヤを可笑しみのある表現に変えることができます。一風変わったアート体験、ぜひご参加ください。

We are pleased to present a solo exhibition by Saya Irie, the recipient of the R.E. Award 2024. This exhibition showcases the works Irie created during her residency at the art space "ASP" in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
During the exhibition period, we will host an artist talk about Irie's residency experience and artistic process, as well as a workshop titled "Super Clay Diary", where participants can transform daily memories into unique monuments. We look forward to your visit!

Saya Irie
Saya Irie is a contemporary artist known as an "eraser shavings sculptor," creating three-dimensional sculptures using eraser shavings from erased two-dimensional images. Her works humorously address modern issues concerning representation by erasing familiar images and reconstructing them into tangible sculptures.
Irie has held a solo exhibition at the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art, participated in the Setouchi Triennale, and completed a residency at ISCP in New York. She continues to be active both in Japan and abroad.

Create a handmade monument inspired by your daily memories! No need for grand subjects—something simple, like "what I ate yesterday," works perfectly. Using soft clay, participants will transform these memories into a three-dimensional diary.
The "Super" in the workshop's title refers to "surreal," as we incorporate surrealist methods. By exaggerating or emphasizing parts of your memory, you can create humorous and unique pieces. This workshop is an opportunity to turn delightful moments into lasting impressions or express everyday frustrations in a playful way.
