October in Kyoto: QR Code Order Required for a Good Meal
October 2024 in Kyoto
I’ve written about this a few times before, but once again, here’s a story about another enjoyable gathering with my usual group of classmates. This time, we immersed ourselves in modern art at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art in Osaka, followed by a delightful lunch.
At the restaurant, we ordered via a QR code menu for the first time, following our last outing, where we had our first experience with a touch-panel ordering system. These days, it seems like every restaurant relies on some kind of digital ordering system, so like it or not, we’ve no choice but to adapt.
We’re gradually mastering new digital methods, one step at a time every time we go out to enjoy a good meal.
