川村曼舟 作(Kawamura Manshu)蓬莱山(Utopian landscape)

   今回は川村曼舟作の「蓬莱山」を紹介します。
「蓬莱山」とは中国の理想郷のことです。
「蓬莱山」は曼舟さんお得意の画題で、沢山の作品を描いています。仙人と楼閣が描かれています。仙人は小さいのですがしっかりと描かれて見事です。構図も近景、中景、遠景がきっちりと描き分けられ、近景では濃い色彩を、遠景の山々には薄い色彩を用いながら霞を加えることにより遠近感が生じます。

 "Mt. Horai" is an utopia that has been handed down in China.
 "Mt. Horai" was a theme that Manshu was good at, and he drew many works. A hermit and a louge are depicted. The hermit is small, but it is drawn firmly and is wonderful. In the composition, the near view, middle view, and distant view are clearly drawn, and a sense of perspective is created by adding haze while using dark colors in the near view and light colors in the mountains in the distant view.
