My experiences in NZ #14
Hello, there.
I’d love to continue from where I ended last time.
No way!
It is after a month!
Time flies!
What should I start with?
Unexpected expenses
Although I introduced my unique and fate friends in my previous blogs, I’ll return to my school life today.
I was supposed to learn English at the language school for two weeks but hadn’t gotten a job yet, so I decided to extend it for two more weeks; my host family accepted it, and I could extend homestay too.
And then, I paid an extra charge for school and homestay.
At the same time, I continued my job hunting on foot; since I asked around, and there were a lot of slopes in Auckland, the soles of my shoes wore out.
In addition, I ran out of my resumes, so I needed to make copies.
These were unexpected expenses.
Luckily, I finally made it to the interview stages several times.
However, they looked for the housekeeping staff.
It was mismatched because I wanted to work as a room attendant, but I’d never given up.
That’s all for today, and to be next time.
See you around.
