Want to know what's happening near Torishima:October 10th(Tuesday)

On the morning of the 9th, at 6:40 AM, the Japan Meteorological Agency issued a tsunami advisory for the Izu Islands and the Ogasawara Islands. In fact, it has been reported that a tsunami had already reached Hachijo Island before the tsunami advisory was issued.

The cause of this tsunami is said to be a seismic event that occurred near Torishima (approximately 600 kilometers southeast of Tokyo) at around 5:25 AM. However, there is a lack of data from observation points, and it is still unclear whether an earthquake actually occurred.

I believe that, in this case, regular radiation measurements should be conducted in coastal areas across Japan affected by the tsunami. At the very least, if the cause of the tsunami remains unknown, we should not neglect data collection and accumulation to the best of our abilities, rather than relying on speculative assumptions.
