Until my first solo Business trip to Taiwan- Part 1
Regeta got selected for a Pop-Up event at Taiwan organized by The Osaka Brand company and JTB along with 6 other companies. As Regeta already has presence in Taiwan it will be a great opportunity to boost our reach to many more people. Below I have written the preparation I have been doing for my visit to Taiwan.
3 months before the D day.
Attended the informative seminar for the Pop-up event organized by Osaka Brand company.
The dates, timing and place for the event was disclosed. The flow of the process was explained.
2.8 months before the D day.
Filled in the company information and other required details in the excel provided by the event organizers. Had meeting with Regeta’s partner in Taiwan. It was decided that they will do all the display and contact the local event partners. Decided about the products that we want to display and few other details.
2 months before the D day.
Started planning the schedule for Taiwan. Confirming the schedule with the event organizers and our Taiwan partners. Connecting event organizers and our Taiwan partner. Made a check list.

1.5 months before the D day.
Started looking for the flights and contacted the travel agency to request the bookings. Looked for the visa procedure. Confirmed things required for the Pop-Up. Booked my hotel at Taipei, Taiwan. Searched about the insurance plan.
1 month before the D day.
Visa done. Checked the last details. Decided the insurance plan. Got my laptop ready. Scheduled the last confirmations and check dates till I fly to Taiwan. Searched e-sim for my visit.
2 weeks before the D day.
As the time is getting near the check list with the partners and the event manager company has increased. I booked my insurance, e-sim and confirmed the money transaction and exchange procedures. I think I have got all the required things with me and now I just wait till the day of my flight without forgetting to take the visa and passport with me.
