ウクライナのゼレンスキー大統領は９月２０日、国連安全保障理事会の特別会合に出席し、国連憲章を守るよう訴えた。同大統領が１５カ国で構成する安保理の会合に対面形式で参加するのは、２０２２年のロシアによる侵攻開始以降初めて。侵攻以来、安保理は何度も会合を開いたが、ロシアが常任理事国として拒否権を持っているため、主だった行動を起こせていない（ナレーションなし）。
