少し前にリリースされた曲ですが、英語の勉強も兼ねて、Chance the Rapperの「The Highs & The Lows」を和訳しました。PVの舞台はイタリアのベネチア、客演はNew York Brooklyn、Flatbush出身のラッパー Joey Bada$$、サンプリングネタはFive Stairstepsの「Come Back」です。解釈が間違えている所が有れば、コメント頂けると嬉しいです。

NBAのチーム、オーランドマジックに所属する選手の一人。身長2.18m、現在のNBA選手の中では最も身長が高い選手。
*3 : bread →
パン、主食、糧、金（スラング）。文脈から、パン/生きる糧の二つ意味を同時に持たせていると考える。
*4 : Nova Scotia (ノバスコシア）→
カナダの州の一つ。カナダの東部、大西洋に面している。≒とても寒い場所

呪怨の海外での題名は『The Grudge』

ちっぽけな家、家畜小屋 → チャンス自身の家を指す。チャンスの妻コーリーは、2015年9月に娘を出産。（この時は、まだ婚約していない。）その後、別居や養育費訴訟などを経て、2017年3月に和解、2019年3月に結婚している。
*7 : stroller → ベビーカー
*8 : holster（ホルスター）→
腰の周囲や、脇の下につける銃のケース
*9 : meme →
遺伝子の影響を受けずに、ある世代から別の世代に伝わる文化的特徴、または行動の種類。最近では、SNSを通してインターネット上で広がる考えや行動、イメージ、スタイルのことを意味する。
mimosa →
ミモザ（植物）イタリア(PVの舞台）では、国際女性デーに男性から母親や奥さんにミモザを贈る習慣がある。諸説あるが、国際女性デーは、1904年にアメリカで女性労働者が婦人参政権を求めたデモが起源といわれている。また、ミモザの語源は、ラテン語の『動物の真似をする物』（ 触ると生き物のように反応することから）

Patti LaBelle（フィラデルフィア出身の歌手）の1975年の大ヒット曲。クリスティーナ・アギレラ、リル・キム達もカバーしている。この曲の歌詞の通り、娼婦との一夜を表している。

子供たちが往々にして信じている、伝説上、もしくは民間伝承における幽霊に類似した怪物

ソニー・ピクチャーズ・アニメーションにより製作されたアニメーション映画。
邦題は、『くもりときどきミートボール』風変わりな発明ばかりしている青年の新発明により、空から色々な食べ物が降ってくるようになった町で繰り広げられる大騒動をコミカルに描いている。
