The other day, I found another one that seems to be telling me of the change in season.
When I looked up at the sky through a window, that day had a lot of clouds in the sky. I It was a surprise to me. For a few days before that day, it had been hot and humid in a blue sky with no clouds. So, I did not expect the sky to be covered with so many clouds so soon. But they were nothing like the dark grey rain clouds that always tell me that the weather is about to change soon. Instead, they were a series of white cotton clouds that I had not seen for a while. And more and more clouds were trying to gather around my town. They must have come to me to tell me of the change in season. It means that it is not far off to see the end of the heat. It was the second notice about the change in season next to the one from the cicadas.

　先日も、季節の変わり目を告げるものに出会いました。
　その日は、窓から空を見上げると、たくさんの雲があり、驚きました。数日前までは、雲ひとつない青空で蒸し暑い日が続いていました。だから、こんなに早く空が雲で覆われる日が来るとは思ってもいませんでした。でも、その雲は、いつも「天気がもうすぐ変わるよ」と教えてくれる濃い灰色の雨雲のようなものではありませんでした。それらは、しばらく見たことがなかった、白い綿雲の連なりでした。そして、さらに多くの雲がボクの町の周りに集まろうとしていました。季節の変わり目を伝えに来てくれたのだと思います。暑さが終わるのもそう遠くないでしょう。この通知は、蝉に次いで２回目です。
