March 9, 2023: Spring Has Come! (春の訪れ!)

Spring has come earlier than I expected. I had seen that it would take at least another few weeks until spring. But it has come in a flash. I have enjoyed sunny days for the last few days. It is also time to say goodbye to a hot water bottle which helped me warm up in the cold winter. I am happy to put away my winter clothes and to walk in light clothes.
On the other hand, it is time to fight hay fever. My nose has already gone sniffling with sneezing. So I sprayed medicine into the nose. Since it was a year old, I was worried if it would work well. But I did not have to, it worked well. I hope that my hay fever will end without getting worse.
I am also looking forward to cheery blossoms. My town has a beautiful spot full of blooming cherry blossoms. The spot has cherry blossom trees that extend over two kilometres. The beauty of the blossoms in full bloom has always stunned me. I expect to see the full bloom in a few weeks.

　春の訪れまで、数週間の我慢だと思っていました。ところが、あっと今に春の陽気がやってきました。ここ数日は、ぽかぽか陽気です。ついに、湯たんぽともおさらばする時が来ました。また、服装も薄くなりました。身軽に動けるのはありがたいです。
その一方で、新たな闘いがはじまりました。花粉症です。鼻がグスグスしはじめ、くしゃみも出はじめたので、鼻に薬をさしました。昨年の春に買ったクスリですが、ききました。この程度で収まってくれればいいのです。
桜が待ち遠しいです。ボクの街にも桜が咲き乱れるスポットがあります。約1.5kmに渡って、桜の木が植えられている道があります。満開時の美しさに、いつも圧倒されます。後数週間で見れそうです。
