November 3, 2021：カーブス、にぎわい、衆院選、チェンジ (Curves, Crowdedness, Lower House Election, Change)

 Curves, a women-only fitness club, is located within a ten-minute walk from my home. Probably, it is now the busiest place in my town. I sometimes ｗalk in front of the club and see many women enter the club one after another. I have no detailed information on the women-only club, but an article by Keiko Emura on Note suggests the key to its success.
 Unlike the club, the Lower House election campaign in my town was astonishingly noiseless and lacklustre. It gave me a quiet and comfortable time since I did not meet any 'notorious campaign vans from which election candidates holler their names'. But it disappointed and teased me since it gave me no chance to see or hear the candidate deliver their speeches live.
 It is time to review and change the election system and campaign style. It is the responsibility of the newly elected members to do that.

　歩いて10分くらいのところに女性専用のフィットネスクラブ「カーブス」がある。時々、この前を通ると、次々と会員が入っていく。多分、カーブスがボクの街で今一番賑わっている場所だ。女性専用のため中には入れないため詳しいことは分からないが、江村恵子さんの記事を読むと人気なのが分かる気がする。
　衆議院選挙が終わりました。今回の選挙では、候補者の顔や声を肉眼で見ることなく終わりました。悪名高き「名前を連呼するだけの選挙カー」も来ませんでした。おかげで、騒音に煩わせられることなく、平穏な生活を送れましたが、有権者としてはないがしろされた気分で、不満です。
　選挙の制度ややり方を見直す時期にきている。代議士先生には、当選に満足せず、選挙のあり方自体も議論して欲しい。
