It is June today. It is officially the beginning of a rainy season in Japan, and it has already begun to rain as a typhoon is approaching. I am worried about what will be this rainy season. I hope that it will not rain so hard and heavy. The season in Japan used to have mild and intermittent rain, which was a blessing for growing rice. But it has recently had very hard and heavy rain and has destroyed our lives.
In addition to this gloomy mood, I have another thing that concerns me this year. Near my flat is a building now being built. Recently, a crane vehicle was brought to the site, extending its arm up to the sky. It has made me worry that the arm will fall over and destroy my flat.
