　　この木の一本一本を
　　伐り出した　人がいて
　　この木の一本一本を
　　運搬し　乾かした　人々がいた

　　この木の一本一本を
　　切り揃え　削り出した　人がいて
　　この木の一本一本を
　　磨き上げ　運び上げ‥‥
　　そして　
　　寸分も狂いなく
　　組み上げた　人々がいた

　　一本一本
　　心を込め
　　人から人へ
　　手から手へ‥‥

　　その人たちのことを
　　私は　何も知らない
　　その人たちの名前すら
　　誰も　知らない

　　でも　その人たちの　汗が
　　時を超え　空間を超え
　　いま
　　こんなにも　私の胸を　打つ

　　　・　　　・　　　・

　　There were people
　　who cut down each of these trees,
　　and there were people who transported
　　and dried each of these trees.

　　There were people
　　who sawed and carved out each of these trees,
　　and there were people
　　who polished, transported…
　　and assembled each and every one of these trees
　　without the slightest deviation.

　　Each and every tree
　　was put heart and soul,
　　from person to person,
　　from hand to hand...

　　I don't know
　　anything about them.
　　Nobody knows
　　even their names.

　　But their sweat transcends
　　time and space,
　　and now
　　it touches my heart so much.
