Clean eating and the breakdown of your calories

Hi there, it's Maruko.

Have you ever thought about "eating real food"?

I'm pretty confident about that. Since I've started to live alone, I seldom buy processed foods such as snack, icecream, and any other things which contain sugar or chemical seasoning.

What I have in my refrigerator is vegetables, fruits, chicken, beans...only row foods.

Every time I go to the supermarket and look at other customers' shopping bags, I can see his/her lifestyle from it. Some buy many cup ramens, snacks, alcohols, and bentos, some buy many vegetables, mushrooms, meats.

I've never eaten cup ramen for a long time. I realized that it's much cheaper to cook by myself than buying something at the supermarket. Thanks to Healthio and Hotcook.

Learning about foods makes our body

I like to watch YouTube channel runs by muscle builders. Their knowledge of foods is incredible. Their job is to make their body so that they study so hard about nutrition.

Gradually I became interested in the breakdown of the calories which I take every day, especially PFC balance.

What's PFC balance?

PFC means Protein, Fat, and Carbohydrates. When we think about a breakdown of calories, Protein should be 20%, Fat should be 30%, and Carbohydrates should be 50%.

Some of you might be surprised to see the percentage of carbohydrates. Yes, 50% is a bit higher than I expected.
