1.  Russia has intensified its attacks across Ukraine.  This was the result of an air strike near the city of Lviv.  In the southern city of Mykolaiv, dozens of people have been killed in a Russian missile strike on an army base.  In his latest video address President Zelensky called for comprehensive peace talks with Russia.

ロシアはウクライナ全土で攻撃を強めています。これはリヴィウ市近郊での空爆の結果です。南部の都市ムィコラーイウでは、ロシアのミサイル攻撃により、数十人が死亡しています。ゼレンスキー大統領は最新のビデオ演説で、ロシアとの包括的な和平協議を呼びかけました。

2.  Fighting has reached the center of the southern port city of Mariupol.  Many civilians are still trapped in the city with more than 80 percent of residential buildings either damaged or destroyed.

戦闘は南部の港湾都市マリウポリの中心部にまで及んでいます。多くの市民がまだ市内に閉じ込められており、80％以上の住宅が損傷または破壊されています。 

3.  And Vladimir Putin has praised Russia's unity over what he calls the country's special operation in Ukraine.  And he thanked Russia's military.  His comments came in a public speech to a pact stadium in Moscow.  Some students and public workers said that they'd been pressured into turning up to the rally. 

ウラジーミル・プーチンは、ウクライナでのいわゆる特別作戦におけるロシアの結束を称賛しています。ロシア軍に感謝していると。モスクワのスタジアムでの演説での発言です。学生や公務員の中には、集会に出るように圧力をかけられたと言う人もいました。
