ボンダイへのバスにて
2015年9月11日の日記より。
ワーホリ終盤、シドニー滞在中の話。
何事も自分のとらえ方で良くも悪くもなる、という話。
最近の俺はツイている。
In these days I often get fortunes.

学生時代は数々の不運に見舞われたが、まぁそれも日頃の行いが招いたものだったが。
When I was an university student, I was suffered from many disasters. Actually, my bad habits invited them.

シドニーでの滞在中、ボンダイビーチというとても人気のあるビーチへ行った時のこと。
I would like to talk about an episode that I went to the Bondi beach in Sydney.
Je voudrais presenter que j'ai visité a la plage de Bondi à Sydney.
確信を持って乗り込んだバスは、隣のブロントビーチへ向かうものだった。
I jumped on a bus, although, which was ahead to the Bronte beach, not Bondi.
J'ai cependant pris un bus, mais qui allait jusqu'à la plage de Bronte.
ブロントビーチからボンダイビーチへは歩いて一時間くらいの距離だ。
It approximately takes an hour on foot from the Bronte beach to the Bondi beach.
Il faut environ une heure à pied pour aller de la plage de Bronte à la plage de Bondi.
ミスったな～と思いきや、バスの乗車カードを読み込む機械がたまたま故障していて、無料で乗れた(運転手が無料でOKの合図をしてくれた)。
I thought shit! However, I could get on in no charge because its ticket gate was not working.

乗り込んだ時には既に壊れていて、五ドル得した。こういうのを、災い転じて福と成すと言うんだろう。

ブロントビーチは波が高く、サーファーがたくさんいた。
The waves of the Bronte beach are so good that many surfers were enjoying.
Les vagues de la plage de Bronte sont si bonnes que de nombreux surfeurs en profitent.
気持ちのよい風に吹かれながら、一時間歩いたが、良い運動になった。
I walked about an hour in the wind which brought me a good exercise.
J'ai marché environ une heure dans le vent, ce qui m'a procuré un bon exercice.
まぁ、物事をどう捉えるかは、その人の考え方に依るんだろう。
Well, it depends on someone's way of thinking how he interpret.

補足、シドニーでは乗車時と降車時にカードを読み込み、移動した距離に応じて支払う。アデレードは乗車時に支払い、どこまで行っても同じ値段！
We need to check the ticket gate twice and pay fare calculated by how far you moved in Sydney. On the other hand, the fare in Adelaide is same prices wherever you go.
Il faut contrôler deux fois la barrière de billets et payer le prix calculé en fonction de la distance parcourue à Sydney. En revanche, à Adélaïde, les prix sont les mêmes où que l'on aille.
ひとによって物事のとらえ方は異なる。
自分と違っていても、それが当たり前という姿勢でいるのが大事かな。
しばしば、自分の価値観を押し付けてくるひとに出会うが、摩擦は避けて、うまくかわしていこう。昔だったら圧倒的正論で論破していたけど、もうほっとこう。
