20241025 シロフヨウ（白芙蓉、Hibiscus mutabilis f. alba に属する）は、南河内郡太子町の新興住宅街の中の一軒の家の前で、しなやかに立っていました。自然交配、人為的品種改良などのため、葵科に属する芙蓉の種類は異常に多い様です。中国語では白芙蓉（báifúróng）は美称で、その他の芙蓉は、木芙蓉（mùfúróng）と呼ぶそうです。白色は端然とした気品を感じます。

In Chinese, the white hibiscus is called " 白芙蓉 ‘báifúróng" and is considered a beautiful flower, while other hibiscus varieties are generally referred to as " 木芙蓉 “mùfúróng." The pure white color gives an upright and neat bearing.
