ベートーヴェン「悲壮」のHIROMIによるジャズ・ピアノ演奏と、「悲壮」と言う言葉についての雑感。南河内郡太子町で再び聴き振り返る。

Pathétiqueはよく「悲壮」と訳されている様です。「悲壮」はベートヴェンの命名ではないそうですね。「悲壮」も良いとは思いますが、この場合、Hiromi嬢の演奏からは、何か魂の中の思いの昇華、と言う様な、高揚感を感じます。

“Pathétique" is often translated as "tragic," though it's unlikely Beethoven himself coined the term. While "tragic" is certainly apt, I find that Hiromi's performance evokes a sense of sublime exaltation, as if the innermost feelings of the soul are being transcended.

"Pathétique" wird oft mit ‚tragisch‘ übersetzt, obwohl es unwahrscheinlich ist, dass Beethoven selbst diesen Begriff geprägt hat. Obwohl „tragisch“ sicherlich zutreffend ist, empfinde ich, dass Hiromis Interpretation ein Gefühl der erhabenen Überhöhung hervorruft, als ob die innersten Gefühle der Seele transzendiert werden.

« Pathétique » est souvent traduit par “tragique”, bien qu'il soit peu probable que Beethoven ait lui-même inventé ce terme. Bien que 'tragique' soit certainement exact, j'ai l'impression que l'interprétation de Hiromi évoque un sentiment d'exaltation sublime, comme si les sentiments les plus intimes de l'âme étaient transcendés.
