YOONDONG from ORβIT, a perfect member who strengthens the group's base. He appeals with his genuine and sincere personality, on top of his high performance skills.

　ORβIT is a 7 member group comprised of YUGO, SHUNYA, JUNE, TOMO, YOONDONG, HEECHO and YOUNGHOON, all 7 ex-participants of Japan's largest audition program "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN". They debuted as a Japanese Korean dance vocal group on November 11 and have been actively promoting despite the physical distance that separates them due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. From all the ORβIT members, this time we'd like to focus on YOONDONG.

　YOONDONG is 25 years old, born in 1995. As his symbol within the group is the planet of love and beauty, Venus, he has a distinguishable etheral beauty. In the "『Lazurite』 Behind the Scenes" video uploaded on the official YouTube channel, he is seen wearing a simple outfit with a white shirt and black pants, but he is simply beautiful. To top it off, in the member teaser of the debut album "00" title song "UNIVERSE", there is a scene of him floating in the water. It is surprising that someone is able to show this much fragility and beauty simultaneously despite being under water. If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend watching it.

　Fans often tend to focus on his looks, but when you observe him, you can notice that he is rather calm and he is not the type who tries to become the center of attention. Gradually, you will start noticing that he is a charming person on the inside as well. One of the members, SHUNYA, has also described YOONDONG as a "very sincere older brother". In the"『UNIVERSE』M/V Behind the Scene" video, he showed a stoic side, saying "I wanted to show a cool side of me, so I tried many different poses." During the group battle stage in "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN", all the teammates were collectively offering support to one of the members who was a beginner dancer, but YOONDONG also gave additional specific advice and words of encouragement. It was not hard to see that he was being very compassionate. When ORβIT was formed, YOONDONG stayed in Japan to live with the Japanese members and most likely stood as a bridge between the older members and the younger members while offering support to the younger ones who have less experience.

　While YOONDONG is a sincere and gentle person, he also shows cute sides of himself at times. SHUNYA has said previously that "he also goes all out when he plays around. Like when we play rock-paper-scissors to decide who washes the dishes. If I lose, he dances around me and teases me." In the video "SHUNYA’s Birthday Event『Questions for Shuna』" where SHUNYA mentioned this, YOONDONG was watching SHUNYA record at first, but he left half way to game on his own. He has shown a freegoing personality at times. He is especially smiley when YOUNGHOON is around. During "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN", not only were they having a blast during the "Step Counter Dance Battle", there was also a scene where they were taking pictures together in their room, laughing. Seeing his innocent smile puts a smile on your face as well. 

　Of course, his high skilled performances are also one of his charm points. Given his experience as a member of the K-Pop group HALO, he showed striking performances during "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN" and that hasn't changed in ORβIT. His singing voice is straightforward and he easily handles higher ranges. He is also skilled at rapping and he took part of the rap parts in "UNIVERSE" along with JUNE. Of course, he is perfect at dancing as well in which he shows details that stand out. In the position battle stage of "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN" where he covered "DNA" from BTS, the scene where he pretends to fix his mic stood out. In the group battle stage where he covered "FIRE" by BTS, he showed dance movements using his jacket, showing how much he was at ease while performing. Mastering such precise small movements requires skills.
