YUGO from ORβIT, the youngest member, but full of potential. His lovable character and his unexpected facial expressions during performances are his selling biggest points.

　Last year, Japan's biggest audition show "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN" caused a sensation. Other than the popular boy band JO1, this group has seen the birth of many other new talents as well. One of them would be ORβIT. ORβIT is a Japanese-Korean dance vocal group comprised of 7 members: YUGO, SHUNYA, JUNE, TOMO, YOONDONG, HEECHO, and YOUNGHOON. They are quite a hot topic, considering that their lineup features popular members from "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN". As to answer to the voices of many EαRTH (ORβIT's fan name) who were anticipating their debut, they debuted on November 11 with their full album "00 (Ootsuu)". ORβIT has a lineup of members who are each very unique and full of charm. This time, we would like to focus on the youngest member, YUGO.

　YUGO is 19 years old, born in 2000. (Coincidentally, it is his birthday in 10 days.) He has been repetitively called "cute" from his very first appearance on "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN" for his small physique and his cute smile. For example, he was was in charge of the center position for the concept battle song "Yancha Boy Yancha Girl".  The trainees and trainers who were watching this performance couldn't stop calling him cute. If you watch the videos from ORβIT's official YouTube channel, you will notice that ORβIT members also dote on him. For example, at the end of the video titled "「begin an orbit」Behind the Scene", after the members were done shooting and they were thanking the staff, you will notice that HEECHO has his arm around YUGO's shoulder and that YUGO is also leaning on to HEECHO.

　Although YUGO's adorableness makes you feel like you must protect him at all costs, he actually also has a little devil side. He often does a facial expression putting up his chin and looking down at the camera, but that expression is slightly pugnacious and nice as well. Other than that, he has also shown us a powerful rap in his performance of EXO's "LOVE ME RIGHT" during "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN". It feels like his facial expressions and performances are thought out to make you feel a gap between his usual cuteness. HEECHO can also hit high notes, but YUGO's voice carries a certain pureness and innocence unlike HEECHO's. In their debut album title song "UNIVERSE", the interlacing parts between him and TOMO/SHUNYA made each of their voices stand out especially because of their differing voice types.

　Lastly, his dance skills. Although he only had 3 months of dancing school experience at the beginning of "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN", the trainers commented that they saw potential in him. He quikly rose to A class at the class re-evaluation and even was a candidate for the center position of "Tsukame ~It's Coming~". He probably continued to work on himself after ORβIT was formed. When you watch the MV, you can see that he has improved so much that he is now by no means inferior to the other experienced members.

　Currently with the COVID-19 pandemic, traveling between the two countries is difficult and they are unable to work all 7 together. When the 7 will come together, YUGO will probably show his full potential and shine even more. The possibilities he holds are exciting.
