3. No further explanation about an X-ray result
The doctor didn’t mention the detail of your X-ray and you couldn’t get the information below;
・Why you needed an X-ray? [Purpose]
・How the doctor concluded that your X-ray was normal? [Evidence]
・Which finding is thought as unusual? [Judgement]
Perhaps, we can say even an X-ray cut down some of the important exams.
If there is no X-ray, doctors have to find the information from the interview and exploration. And as I mentioned, this careful attitude ends up the building trust.
I’m not saying that we don’t need an X-ray. However, too many MDs seem to take it without deep thought and that eventually deteriorate medical quality.
