朝は
太陽に向かって
その清らかな
光を浴び
夕（ゆうべ）は
月に向かって
その静かな
光を吸え
In the morning, face the sun and bask in its pristine light.
In the evening, face the moon and breathe in its calming glow.

火に焼かれても
いくたびの
火に焼かれても
ほほえんでいられる
仏さまに
じっと向かいあっていると
どんな苦難にでも
堪えて
生きてゆくのだという
強いものが
湧きあがってくる
However Burnt
Staring fixedly at the statue of the Buddha, smiling serenely however burnt it may be from fires past, provokes something strong in my heart — something that helps me withstand the trials of fate and survive, no matter how harsh.
