（試作 パイロット版）（学園もの→まち歩きものに見えて、じゃないストーリー Aパート6-3）

あれ、この感じ前にもあった、なんだっけ、って思った瞬間。
二つのコーヒーキャンディが、同時に引き合うように動いた。
ぐいって音が聞こえた気がした。生きている人の眼じゃない感じ。寄り眼、ってやつ。
「わわっ」思わず素の声がでてしまった。怖いってのユーレイのそれとは違うけれど。
「ミノルの負け、ありがとう！」
シキが眼を戻し、嬉しそうにいたずらっぽくパ行で笑う。ぷぷぷ。
「笑うな何が『ありがとう』だ！ こっちはちゃんと見てたんだ、なのに。何なんだよ」
「私の弱点だよ、だから」
「どういうこと、意味分かんないっての』
「だから、つまりはこういう話」
シキがパ行笑いをやめた。
「ミノルって視力いくつ？」
「いくつって、だいたい右０．５左０．３くらい。本当にだいたい、だけれど」
普通の答え。ていうか、視力の話ならわたしだって悪い。シキの両目なら多少見えづらくても、その形の良さでトータルプラスでしょ、なんて思った。ちょっとひがんでる感じが自分でイヤだけれど。
そんな思いに関係なく、シキはぼそっと独り言をつぶやいた。視力は弱くしてるしひっくり返せば何とかなるかな、なんて。
どういうことだ。
「ミノル、乱視は入ってる？」
「特に、検査した時には言われてないけれど｣
「そうか。わたしは乱視なんだけれど、［これ］は度数入ってないから大丈夫」
よし、とシキが勝手に納得した。何を考えてるのか、ていうか［これ］って何だ。
「ミノル、コンタクトレンズつけてみない？ 世界が変えられるかも」

「いきなり何言ってるの、ていうかシキってコンタクトなの？」
「そうだよ、使い捨てのやつ。度数は左が０．３、右が０．０８とかそのくらい。ちょっと違うけれど、元々弱めにしてあるからミノルの視力でちょうどいい位になるよ。つけた事多分無いでしょ？」
「勝手に決めつけるな。まあ確かに無いけれど」
「少しは興味あるでしょ。ここに新品があるから。使い捨てのやつだけれど。じゃ、メガネ外して、準備するから」
わたしの回答をシキは聞かなかった。勝手に決めるなよまあ興味あるけれど。にしてもなぜイヤじゃない、ちょっと興味ある事を分かったんだろう。
ぼやけた世界の中で、詳細不明少女はヤキイモトーニューをちゅー、と飲み干して、例の儀式を済ませてからパックをしまった。そして、入れ替わりにカバンからハンディタオルとプラスチックのケースを取り出した。
シキの細い指先がハンディタオルでぬぐわれてから。
「ミノル、少し上向いて」
少女の顔が近づき、もっと速い速度で右手が近づいた。
どっ、どっ、とまた心音が聞こえてくる。
「左目から行くよ。眼は開いたまま、動かさないで」
左目のまぶたがシキの右手で開かれた。さっきよりもっと近く、１０㎝の距離にシキがいる。
心音が早まる、血液がいつもより早くわたしの中を巡る、ぐぐるぐるる。
ぴとっ、と左目に何かが張り付いた感じがした。
「上向いて、ゆっくり眼を閉じてから、ゆっくり開いて」
