2020〜2022年にかけて、アンビエントトランスに没入していた時期に、おれはLorenziの作品に出会った。最初聴いたのは「About You」だったと思う。「Jet Set Memories」は今でもDJでかける。ただ、おれがLorenziの作品でぶっとばされたのは、そのあと出た「Beloved Exile」だ。とてつもなくメランコリックなアルバムで、内省的なのに外に開けている。それがheavenlyということの大事な要素なのかもしれない。みんなのきもちもそうだけれど、heavenlyは突き詰めていくと内省とかつての石野卓球的なレイヴ性と両立する。Lorenziの雲間を抜けていくようなheavenlyは内省と外部を貫いていく。それこそが「Beloved Exile」なのかもしれない。亡命。ここに居ながら脱出を両立させること。

DMでLorenziとやりとりをする中で、Lorenziの優しい人柄が時々見える。英語での会話は不得手だが、Lorenziと会うのが本当に楽しみだ。Lorenziも17℃を楽しんでくれたら、それは何よりだ。

I came across Lorenzi's work during my immersion in ambient trance from 2020-2022. I think I first heard "About You". I still play "Jet Set Memories" when I DJ. But "Beloved Exile," that really blew me away. It is an incredibly melancholic album, introspective yet open. This may be an important element of "heavenly". Like Minna no Kimochi, heavenly is a combination of introspection and a former Takkyu Ishino style of rave. heavenly, like Lorenzi's cloud-like movements, penetrates both introspection and the outside world. Perhaps that is what "Beloved Exile" is all about. Exile. Balancing escape while staying here.

As I communicate with Lorenzi via DM, I sometimes see Lorenzi's gentle personality. I am really looking forward to meeting Lorenzi, even though I am not very good at speaking English, and I hope Lorenzi enjoys 17°C as much as I do.
