Day-9_MBA Journey_Life in Dubai

It has been almost two weeks since I came to Dubai. For the first week, I have stayed at Lavender Hotel close to Union station (Dubai Metro Red Line) in Deira area, where once the commercial center of the city but became less popular as the attention moves to DIFC or Dubai Marina area.
On September 13th, I have moved to the new place called Elite Residence close to Minase Yahi station (Dubai Tram) in Dubai Marina Area, which is the biggest marina in the world that can accommodate 120,000 people with an artificial canal city built along a two-mile (3 km).

I am currently living in a private room while sharing common area (kitchen, bathroom, toilet, laundry, living room, etc) with seven diverse people from all over the world. In the beginning of property search, I was looking at a whole property only for myself. However, considering the price, distance from the school, monthly payment (while most of the properties in Dubai are one, two, three or four time payments) and all the services (gym, swimming pool, billiards, pingpong table, common space regular clean up, furnished room, water server, utility, etc) included in the payment made me think that I can bear living with others. Surprisingly, most of share mates are very matured and respectful to each other that I am so far satisfied with my living condition.

No limits in human growth. Time is money. Live in the Present Moment!
It is necessary to set clear and crystal goal as my one year MBA program will fly in a moment as many of alumnus shared with me. There are three things Ibraham Savage guide me through on the other day.

1. Start Early in preparations, especially job hunting, 2. Connect internally and externally 3. Take an initiative in every matter

With what I learnt, it is great opportunity now for me to think things to prepare before my MBA program begin. Here are couple things I have jotted down.
