お仕事日記2020.02.03
It’s this time of the year when you have to buy lots of chocolates for the st. Valentine’s Day.
Of course I want to thank all my bosses for having me as their secretary and for giving me gifts every time they travel abroad.
But this Japanese Valentine’s Day is too exhausting.
We have to literally hunt for the rare chocolates or limited editions and wait in the long lines for hours to buy this nice gifts.
Japanese people even have 義理チョコ(I call them “just in case chocolates”) and 自分へのご褒美(also known as feeding myself with high calorie sweets) and this whole Valentine’s Day events drive me crazy every year.
I had fun time making or baking my Valentine’s Day gifts when I was a student, but they don’t accept handmade gifts anymore and you have to buy something.
Luckily I was able to look around some stores during last weekend and bought nice gifts, so my Valentine’s Day for this year is almost done, and I’m now waiting for the day to come.
Hope they like them 🎁
