日記104 : Mindfulness

I have never been able to practice mindfulness. Although I have often heard the word “mindfulness” and researched it, it is said that the purpose of mindfulness is to clear your mind by removing wandering thoughts.
To be honest, I can’t eliminate my wandering thoughts. In fact, I feel like those wandering thoughts are a part of who I am. Additionally, it’s too painful for me to spend time doing nothing and thinking about nothing. I might want to try it at a luxury resort, but not in my daily life. However, perhaps this is because I’m addicted to the continuous stimuli from my smartphone, which may be why mindfulness works for many people.
