【怪談】肝試し
学校で肝試しをすることになった。
この夏に転校してきたばかりなので
同級生に臆病者と思われたくなかった。
夜、ひとり校門を出て裏山に登った。
山寺の墓場があり、その一番奥に
大きな地蔵が立っているはずだった。
暗くて足もともわからなかったが
それらしい真っ黒な輪郭が見えてきた。
なるほど、大きな地蔵様だ。
「何者だ！」
突然、その地蔵に怒鳴られた。
もう驚いたのなんの
思わず小便をもらしてしまった。
懐中電灯の光がまぶしかった。
「なんだ。子どもじゃないか」
どうやら、この寺の住職らしい。
「なにしとる、こんな時間に」
しどろもどろになって説明した。
「なに？ 学校の肝試しだと」
恐ろしい顔の老人だった。
「あそこは、十年前から廃校だぞ」
Test of Courage
I decided to do a test of courage at school.
I did not want to be a coward to classmates
because I just transferred to this summer.
At night, I left the school gate and climbed the mountains.
There was a graveyard of the mountain temple
and it was supposed to have a big Jizo at the far end.
Although it was dark and I could not see it,
I could see a black contour that looks like it.
Indeed, it is a big Jizo.
"Who are you!?"
Suddenly the Jizo shook at me.
I was surprised already I deliberately urinated my urine.
The light of the flashlight was bright.
"What, is not it a child?"
Apparently, it seems to be a monk of this temple.
"What do you do, at such a time."
I explained it with bothersight.
"What? It's a test of courage at school?"
He was an old man with a horrible face.
"There have been schools for over ten years ago."
