【怪談】影法師

私たちは並んで夜道を歩いていた。

スポットライトみたいに満月に照らされ
私たちはみんな友だちだった。

突然、その友だちのひとりが叫んだ。
「ねえ、見て！ 私たちの影法師」

私たちは振り返り、地面を見た。

ごく普通の影法師だった。
ありふれた輪郭で、口など裂けてない。

「これがどうしたっていうの？」
「だって、影法師が五人いる」

たしかに影法師は五人いる。
でも、友だちは四人しかいない。

みんな悲鳴をあげた。

すると、怒った声がした。
「ばか！　自分自身を数えてないぞ」

あっ、そうか。そうであった。
私たちは、全部で五人だったのだ。

でも、今の声は誰だろう。
どの友だちの声でもなかった。

私たちはあたりを見まわした。

私たちの他に誰もいないのだった。

Shadows

We were walking along the street side by side.

It was illuminated by a full moon like a spotlight,
and we were all friends.

Suddenly one of us cried.
"Hey, look at our shadows!"

We turned and looked at the ground.

They were just normal shadows.
With a common outline, the mouth has not split.

"What's wrong with this?"
"Because there are five shadows."

Certainly there are five shadows.
But there are only four friends.

Everyone screamed.

Then an angry voice came.
"You idiot! You have not counted yourself."

Oh, is that so? It was so.
We were five people in all.

But who is this voice?
It was not the voice of any friend.

We looked around.

There was no one other than us.
