【怪談】校庭の逆立ち

ぼくたちの学校は昔は学校でなくて　
近くにあったお寺の墓地だったんだって。

それで今ではお寺も墓もないけど　
いろいろとこわいうわさ話があるんだ。

真夜中にろうかで泣き声を聞いたとか　
へいたいが歩いていたとかそんなの。

そのひとつに校庭で逆立ちをすると　
墓石が見えてくるというのがあって　

校庭でずっと逆立ちをつづけていると　
ぼんやりと墓石が見えてくるという話。

ぼくもためしに逆立ちしてみたけど　
すぐたおれるからなにも見えなかった。

これは友だちから聞いた話だけど　

その友だちのおねえさんの同級生で　
逆立ちがすごくうまい男の子がいて　

ほうかごに校庭で逆立ちをはじめて　
ずっと逆立ちをつづけていたんだって。

でも墓石がなかなか見えてこないから　
みんなが帰っても逆立ちをつづけていて　

つぎの日の朝、校庭のまん中にたおれていた。

あたまが倍ぐらい大きくなっていて　
鼻血を出して死んでいたんだって。

こわい話だけど墓石のせいじゃないよ。
やっぱり逆立ちのしすぎだとぼくは思うな。

A Handstand in the Schoolyard

It seems that our school was not a school in the past
but a cemeteries temple nearby.

And now there are neither a temple nor a grave,
but there are various scary rumors.

Someone heard crying in the corridor at midnight,
or that the soldier was walking or something like that.

One of them is that when you do a handsatand
in the schoolyard you will see a gravestone,
and if you keep a handstand in the schoolyard
for a long time, the gravestone will be visible vaguely.

I also tried a handstand to try it,
but I could not see anything
because I would fall down at once.

This is a story I heard from a friend,
but it is said that her sister's classmate,
a handstand is a very good boy,
he started a handstand in the schoolyard after school,
and kept a handstand all the time.

But he did not readily see the tombstone,
so he continued a handstand even when
everyone returned home, and he was lying
in the middle of the schoolyard the next morning.

His head was about twice as big,
he was nosebleed and died.

It's a scary story, but it's not due to the gravestone.
After all, I think that his handstand is overkill.
