【SS】砂の城の姫

ひとり、小学校の砂場で遊んでいた。

砂を寄せ集めて城を作るつもり。
なかなか立派な城ができそうだ。

城の中には美しい姫が幽閉されている。
敵国からさらわれてきたのだ。

姫は王子を待っている。
きっと白馬に乗ってやってくるはず。

（それは僕だ。お姫様を助けるのだ）

そんなこと考えていたら突然　
年上のガキ大将が背後から現れ　
砂の城を踏みつぷして逃げていった。

砂の上に靴跡がはっきり残った。
砂の中から雛人形の顔が覗いていた。

かわいそうに、雛人形の首は折れていた。
ひどいありさまだった。

こんな結末は絶対に許せなかった。

金属のハンドスコップを逆手につかみ　
僕は泣きながらガキ大将を追いかけた。
　

Princess in Sand Castle

I was playing alone in the elementary school sandbox.

an older boy appeared from behind,
stepped on a sand castle and ran away.

Shoe marks were clearly left on the sand.
A puppet's face peeped out of the sand.

Poorly, the puppet's neck was broken.
It was terrible.

I could not forgive such an end.

I grabbed the metal hand scoop
and I chased him while crying.
