【SS】木登り

私は探していた。
太くて丈夫そうな木を。

そして、とうとう見つけた。

これはまた、随分と背が高い。

枝ぶりも立派だ。
登りたいくらいだ。

無理だろうな。
もっと若かったら････　

おや、誰か登っているぞ。
あんなところまで。

まるで猿みたいだ。
小さな子猿。

「やーい。ここまでおいで」
「のぼれっこないわ。いじわる！」

泣き虫の女の子が見上げている。

････ああ、そうだ。
あれは、いつのことであったか。

まぶしい。
見上げれば、遠く青い空。

私は握りしめる。

手頃な太さと長さのロープを　
震える両手で。
　

Climbing Trees

I was looking for a thick and durable tree.
And I finally found it.

This is quite tall.

Branching is also fine.
I just want to climb.

I guess impossible.
If I was younger...

Oh, somebody is climbing, to that place.
It's like a monkey, a little monkey.

"Yeah. Come here."
"I can't climb. Mean!"

A crybaby girl is looking up.

Oh yeah.
When was that?

It's dazzling.
Looking up, it is a distant blue sky.

I squeeze a handy rope of reasonable thickness
and length with both hands trembling.
