『仕事と学業と趣味の並列化』英語韓国語日記2024/11/04

I live my life with the boundaries between work, studies, and hobbies quite blurred. While attending university, I immediately apply what I learn to my job, and conversely, my work experience often makes what I study at university more meaningful. Some of the things I’ve pursued as hobbies have unexpectedly turned into work. In Japan, there’s often a perception that work comes with more restrictions compared to hobbies, but I find that work sometimes allows for more adventure than hobbies do. In that sense, I don’t have a preference for which of the three—work, studies, or hobbies—is the most important. What matters to me is navigating and engaging with all three, moving fluidly between them.

저는 일과 학업, 취미의 경계를 꽤 모호하게 하며 살아가고 있습니다. 대학에 다니면서 배운 것을 바로 일에 적용하고, 반대로 일에서의 경험 덕분에 대학에서 배우는 내용이 더욱 잘 이해되기도 합니다. 취미로 해오던 것들이 어느새 일이 되기도 했어요. 일본에서는 취미보다 일이 더 많은 제약이 있다고 여겨지지만, 오히려 일이기 때문에 취미보다 더 모험을 할 수 있는 경우도 있습니다. 그런 의미에서 일, 학업, 취미 중 어느 것이 가장 중요하다고는 할 수 없고, 이 세 가지를 오가며 살아가는 그 자체가 저에게는 중요한 것 같습니다.
