Of course, there was a employee managing the line. At that moment, I thought, "Isn't it a waste to pay this employee?" The number of customers varies depending on the time of day.
Then I thought again, "Taymy is really convenient." Since the busy hours are generally predictable, you can recruit workers just for those specific time slots. The restaurant doesn’t want to pay for 8 hours of work if they only need someone for 2-3 hours, and those looking for spot jobs only need to work during their available short time slots.
