Social Issues Regarding COVID-19 Vaccine

According to a survey conducted by the Japan Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, 21% of surveyed people responded “I want to get the COVID-19 vaccine very much” and 51% of surveyed people said “I wonder if I should get the COVID-19 vaccine.”

As is widely known, economic inequalities create health inequalities. The Japanese government has announced that the entire cost of COVID-19 vaccination will be covered by national finances. Three in four adults globally say they’d get a vaccine for COVID -19. It is important for governments in each country to put in enact legislation that will allow people to get the vaccines in high need at public expense.                                                     JAMA published October by Kyoto@Takuma H
