　日本人は「失敗」を極端に恐れる。学校で英語を学ぶ時に少しでも間違った表現をすると減点されるのに慣れている。そのため発言に慎重になるあまり、ちっとも英語が上達しない。

 

　社会に出ても「リスクを取る」のを嫌う。公務員のように前例踏襲が習慣になっている。一度脱線すると二度と元の線路に戻れないような社会システムになっている。全ての始まりは「学校」。

 

　私立学校は別にして、多くの生徒が通う公立学校の教師は地方公務員なのが問題。イジメで自殺者が出ると必ず隠ぺいに走る。指導・管理の失敗は昇進の妨げになるので公務員にとって死活問題なのだ。

 

　そんな教師に指導されたら、多くの生徒が失敗を恐れて創造的な仕事など出来ない人間になってしまうのは当然だ。

 

　Japanese people are extremely afraid of "failure“. When learning English in school, they are accustomed to having points deducted for even the slightest wrong expression. Therefore, they are so cautious about what they say that their English does not improve at all.

　They do not like to "take risks" when they enter the workforce. Like civil servants, they are accustomed to following precedents. The social system is such that once you get derailed, you can never get back on the track you came from. It all starts with "school".


　Aside from private schools, the problem is that the teachers in the public schools that many students attend are local government employees. Whenever there is a suicide due to bullying, there is always a cover-up. Failure to teach and manage is a matter of life and death for civil servants because it is an obstacle to promotion.


　It is no wonder that many students are afraid of failure and become incapable of creative work if they are taught by such teachers.
