私の不思議な経験(コロナ感染)

私は2022年の12月の終わり頃一週間ほど高い熱が続き、妻に言われてやっと発熱外来で診断を受けたら、コロナウイルスの陽性であることが分かりました。

二日後、近くの病院に入院することが出来ました。そのときの私の指で測る酸素濃度は８８％でした。すぐに中等症として鼻に入れる人工呼吸器を装着しました。

私は71歳でコロナ用のワクチンを接種していませんでした。その理由は私の腎臓に疾患がありワクチンの副反応を心配したからです。
私のドクターは治療前に行った血液検査のデータを見て、この状態では治療が難しいと話していましたが、それでも処置をしなければもっと悪くなります。

治療は点滴によって行われるのですが、エボラ出血熱用の治療薬（ベクルリー）が用いられました。この薬の点滴治療によって私の腎臓や肝臓が現在よりダメージを受けることが予想されました。ですから私はこの治療後には人工透析になることを覚悟しましたし、生きられる可能性も無いかもしれないと思いました。妻は私が戻ってこれない場合があるかもしれないと子供達に話したと、妻から退院後に聞きました。

その日から二日続けた点滴治療の結果、奇跡のようなことが起きたのです。二日目の点滴治療をした日の夕方、ドクターが私の病室に入って来て、点滴治療後に取り出した血液検査のデータ表を私に見せて、治療後の腎臓の状態を示すデータを指して、治療の結果あなたの腎臓の状態が良くなっているのです。と驚いたように話してくれました。

それに合わせて私の血液状態も良くなっていると説明してくれたので、私は理由は分からないけれどうまく行っていることは理解できました。
腎臓が良くなっているのであと一度だけ同じ点滴治療をしますと言われてその時を待ちました。
三回目の点滴の時、青色や赤色の四角い模様が沢山目の前に現れました。時間にしたら二分程度だった思います。そのとき点滴治療を始めていた看護師さんに、その様子を話したら私が変なことを言うので不思議そうな顔をしていました。
トランプ元大統領がコロナになって数日で復活した話を思い出し、今回のことはこれと同じではないかと思いました。コロナ用の点滴以外に医師がさらに数種の治療薬をカクテルとしてアレンジしたのが良かったのだと思います。
三度目の点滴治療後に取り出した私の血液検査の結果、さらに腎臓の値が下がっているのです。ちょうど10年前の私に戻った様な腎臓の状態です。おそらくこれは好転反応が起きたのだと確信しました。一応入院予定日数は10日間でしたが、私の回復状態により結局5日間で人工呼吸器も取れ、さらにその翌日に退院をするようにその夜宣告されたのです。
退院後10日ほど経って血液やCT撮影などの再検査をしたところ腎臓の値は低いままで、それまで悪くなっていた肝臓も数値が正常になって健康体に近づいていることが分かりました。

病院の医師、看護師、保健所の対応してくれた職員に感謝します。今回の私にとっての不思議な体験のお陰で夜には足がむくれていたことも全て消えてしまい、血圧も減薬しても大丈夫になりました。今回の話は以上です。　桑名隆

I had a high fever for about a week at the end of December 2022, and at the suggestion of my wife, I finally went to a fever clinic and was diagnosed and found to be positive for coronavirus.
Two days later, I was admitted to a nearby hospital. My finger-measuring oxygen level at that time was 88%. I was immediately fitted with a nasal ventilator as moderately ill.

I was 71 years old and had not been vaccinated for corona. The reason for this is that I have kidney disease and was concerned about adverse reactions to the vaccine.
My doctor looked at my blood work done prior to treatment and told me that my condition would be difficult to treat but would get worse if not treated. The treatment was an intravenous infusion of a drug for Ebola (Beclury).

It was anticipated that this IV treatment would cause more damage to my kidneys and liver than they are now. So I was prepared to go on dialysis after this treatment, and I thought there was no chance that I would live.

My wife told me that she had told our children that I might not be able to come back, and I heard this after I left the hospital.

After two days of intravenous infusion treatment, a miracle happened.

In the evening of the second day of IV treatment, the doctor came into my room and showed me the data sheet of my blood test that he had taken out after the IV treatment and told me in surprise that the condition of your kidney blood data was getting better.

I did not know why but I understood that it was going well.
He told me that since my kidneys were improving, he would give me one more infusion of the same treatment and I waited for that time.

During the third infusion, many blue and red squares appeared in front of my eyes. I think it took about two minutes. I told the nurse who was starting the IV treatment at that time how it happened and she looked at me strangely because I said something strange.

I remembered the story of former President Trump who had corona and came back to life within a few days, and I wondered if this was the same thing. I think it was a good thing that the doctor arranged a cocktail of several more treatments in addition to the IV infusion for corona.

The results of my blood test taken out after the third infusion treatment showed that my kidney values had dropped even further. My kidneys are back to where they were 10 years ago. I was convinced that this was probably a turnaround. I was scheduled to be in the hospital for 10 days, but due to my recovery, the ventilator was removed in 5 days and I was discharged the next day.

About 10 days after I was discharged from the hospital, blood and CT scans showed that my kidney levels remained low and my liver, which had been deteriorating, had normalized and was now close to healthy.

I would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the hospital, as well as the health center staff who took care of me. Thanks to this magical experience for me, all the swelling in my legs disappeared at night and my blood pressure is now fine even with reduced medication. That's all I have to say about this story.　Takashi Kuwana
