Situation in Ukraine
It has been 861 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First,
a general matter.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 1,180 soldiers
16 tanks
17 armored fighting vehicles
57 guns
1 multi-role rocket
2 air defense systems
27 drones
1 cruise missile
78 other vehicles.
Across the entire front,
there were 189 reported ground strikes in one day,
with Russian forces actively attacking.
And the ratio of the number of equipment losses on the Ukrainian side to those on the Russian side,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 1.8.
Motorcycles account for 40% of the total losses on the Russian side,
while pickups and civilian vans stand out on the Ukrainian side.
Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
You can follow the changes with the date if you use the full screen view on the big screen.
Northeast,
toward Harkiv
We will report on the situation in the Halkiw area,
where the Russian military invaded across the border in May.
In this area,
the Russians attacked 13 times at Hlyboke,
Liptsi,
and Vovtyansk,
but were repulsed by the Ukrainian army and there was no information that would affect the battle map.
Vovtyansk sector
According to the video with location data,
Russian troops were left behind in a high-rise apartment building on the east side of Soborna Street.
The image you are seeing is from the Russian side,
where Russian soldiers are receiving water from a drone at the location indicated on the map.
This was the exact spot where the Spetsnaz of the Russian 2nd Guards attacked on the 30th,
so it is assumed that the Russian soldiers from that attack are still there,
wounded or otherwise,
waiting to be rescued.
Northeast: toward Luhansk Oblast
Eastern part,
toward ChasivYar
The following is an update on the situation in the area from Kupyansk to ChasivYar.
In this area,
the Russians have made 17 assaults in the Kupyansk area,
16 assaults on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
21 assaults in the Sibersk area,
21 assaults on the Chashkiyar area,
and 21 assaults on the Chashkiyar area.
The Russians attacked 21 times around Sibersk,
7 times around ChasivYar,
and 28 times in the direction of Toretsk.
Svatove-Kreminna line
1st.
In Berestove,
northwest of Svatove,
there is unconfirmed information that Ukrainian troops have counterattacked and taken Russian positions along the highway on the outskirts,
and based on the location of the Russian shelling,
it seems to be approximately the location shown on the map,
which will be updated when we have more information to confirm.
2nd.
We reported on the Russian attack on Stelmahiuqa to the south in a video on the 1st of this month.
Since then,
as the ground war continues,
various information has been mixed,
with some Russian military bloggers reporting that Russian troops have entered the village,
while others say that they have not.
There are no changes to the battle map at this time,
but we will keep you posted on any changes.
Third.
In Makijka,
the Russians are attacking from two directions,
from the north and south of the settlement,
and are trying to enter the settlement.
On this day,
the Russians attacked the settlement with glide bombs and then closed the gap on the north side,
while the Ukrainians responded with artillery fire.
There is no change in the battle map,
but the Ukrainian forces are defending in two different directions,
so the battle will continue to unfold.
The ChasivYar Area
In this area,
the Russians advanced by attacking the outpost of Kanal from the south.
After the Russians had checked the Ukrainian military by launching a Su-25 rocket attack on Novi on the other side of the river,
the Russian 98th Airborne Division occupied the building shown on the map and raised a flag claiming occupation of the area.
What you are seeing is footage from the Russian side of the location.
It can be seen that the air defense of the Ukrainian military in this area is weak,
and that the Russian air strikes were carried out very close to the town.
The Ukrainian military responded by sending a drone to the area,
but it seems that the Ukrainian military was only prepared for an attack from the east and was not prepared for an attack from the south.
The battle map has been updated to show the area as occupied by Russian forces from the disputed territory.
This location is next to a section of the town where the Ukrainian army has a position,
so a fierce battle is expected in the future.
There were no other changes in the war situation in the direction of Toretsk.
Southeast Donetsk Oblast.
The following is an update on the war situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Velikanovosilka.
The weather in Avdiivka,
which will affect the operation,
is sunny.
minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius,
maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius.
Today's weather is also forecasted to be hazy.
The weather will continue to be very hot,
with high temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius,
so it will be important to bring water and other supplies.
Avdiivka
In this area,
the Russians are increasing their offensive with 49 attacks in various directions and increasing the number of attacks.
Although the location of the attack cannot be specified,
according to the video of the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army that has appeared on social networks,
the female assault soldiers that we reported in a video just a few days ago have been deployed immediately and in the most intense areas of the battle.
The equipment is that of an assault soldier,
and we can see that she is carrying an AK12 assault rifle.
This soldier was wounded by the first drone,
and a second drone came a short time later,
but we cannot explain here how it happened,
so if you are interested,
please see the telegram.
1st.
Between Novo Oleksandrivka and Sokir,
we have only unconfirmed information,
but there is no change in the battle map,
as the Russians have reached or partially breached the defensive line and have been hit by Ukrainian counterattacks,
from which they cannot advance further.
Also,
on the northern outskirts of Sokil,
Russian forces are closing the gap to the defensive line.
We have updated the battle map to include that area as an expansion of the disputed territory.
Second.
Next,
between Sokir and Novoselivka Persia,
Russian drones are attacking Ukrainian military vehicles,
making this location the front line for the Ukrainian military.
What you are seeing is on the Russian side,
but behind it can be determined to be occupied by Russian forces,
so we have updated the battle map.
Third.
In the northern triangle of the pond west of Netaylove,
the positional video shows that the Russians may have attacked and made a slight advance.
What you are seeing is Russian footage of Russian soldiers throwing something into a building and then immediately fleeing and leaving the building.
We have updated the battle map to show that the area of engagement has expanded to this location.
4th.
In Neveleske,
unconfirmed information indicates that the Russians may be closing the gap to the settlement.
For the moment,
the battle map remains unchanged as the area is considered to be very small.
Marinka sector
The Russians made ten attacks in this sector,
but the Ukrainian forces blocked the Russian advance,
leaving the battle map unchanged.
1st.
In Krasnohorivka,
north of Marinka,
the Russians launched thermobaric bombs into a park in the center of the city in an attempt to block the Ukrainian army's movement.
2nd.
Also in Kostiantyniukha to the south,
the Russians launched a total of about 30 thermobaric bombs and multiple rockets to the west of the town,
but in the subsequent ground battle,
they spotted the Russian vehicles early and repulsed and stopped them near Paraskovyivka in the front.
Third.
At Sorodke,
the Russians attempted to advance with a motorcycle group and a convoy of armored vehicles at the location shown on the map,
but the Russians suffered losses of one tank,
two BMP infantry fighting vehicles,
one MTLB armored fighting vehicle,
and several motorcycles and were repulsed by the Ukrainian Army's 72nd Mechanized Brigade.
Meanwhile,
the battle map was revised by enlarging the Russian occupied area in this vicinity,
changing it as about 10 square kilometers more Russian occupied area southwest of Sorodke.
Berkanovo Shirka Area
Russian forces conducted an offensive in this area,
and according to the video with location information,
Russian troops advanced on Stalomaiorsk.
The image you are looking at is from the Russian MoD and is part of a motorcycle assault by Russian soldiers on the northern outskirts of Stalomaiorsk.
The battle map has been updated to show the area as partially occupied by Russian troops from Ukrainian-controlled and disputed territory.
The area is about 4 square kilometers.
Backward region
1st.
In Sevastopol,
Crimea,
there is information about a missile attack of unknown type on a Shahedrone warehouse,
destroying an estimated 90 Shahedrone.
Images of the destruction are available on social networking sites.
2nd.
In Novorossiysk,
there was an attack by a Ukrainian water drone,
and although there are no photos or other information,
local residents say that the explosion rang out for 30 minutes.
If true,
this would be the first attack by a water drone on a naval base on the Black Sea coast.
Southern Zaporizhia Province
Southern province of Kherson
In this area,
the Russians made three attacks in the direction of Orihiv and nine attacks in Krinky,
but there was no information that would affect the battle map.
This is a brief report with selected news about the situation in Ukraine.

1st.
Russian military losses in June were a record since the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
First,
soldier losses were 3,530 for the month,
the second highest number to date.
The highest number of soldiers lost was 38940 in May of this year,
and for two months in a row they were in first and second place,
continuing the high level of soldier losses.
The losses of tanks and armored fighting vehicles were 359 and 603,
respectively,
which are average figures,
but according to military expert Kovalenko,
the Russian military is refraining from using these armored vehicles,
which he analyzed as leading to personnel losses.
Next,
as reported in yesterday's video,
artillery losses were at a record high for the second month in a row at 1,415 guns,
and air defense system losses were the second highest at 59 guns,
likely due to the effects of the Ukrainian military's attack on the Crimean Peninsula.
Truck losses were also high for the second consecutive month at 1707,
although not as high as May's 1831.
Finally,
it should be noted that the loss of special vehicles,
such as tank recovery vehicles,
reached a record high of 267 vehicles.
Commenting on these results,
Kovalenko noted that "it is clear that the Russian military is experiencing extreme losses in its engineering units," which is "consistent with information that the North Korean military is sending engineering units to Russia," and finally concluded that "the demilitarization and denazification of the Russian military is well underway."
2nd.
U.S. Pentagon Secretary Austin met with Ukrainian Defense Minister Umerov in Washington,
D.C. At the beginning of the meeting,
Austin said he will soon announce $2.3 billion in additional security assistance to Ukraine.
According to the Associated Press,
the aid will include anti-tank weapons,
Patriot air defense missiles,
and ammunition for other air defense systems.
The U.S. also provided $150 million worth of military aid to Ukraine at the end of June,
bringing its total military assistance to more than $50 billion since 2022.
Third.
Meanwhile,
Hungarian PM Orban visited Kyiv and proposed a ceasefire,
but Ukrainian Presidential Deputy Jokhva said in a televised statement that "Ukraine has its own vision of how to achieve peace and therefore turned down Orban's proposal."
It was also reported that during the meeting,
Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto had a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov,
and Kremlin spokesman Peskov said that he "does not expect anything" from PM Orban's visit to Ukraine,
while Finnish President Stubb said,
"With one phone call from Xi Jinping The war in Ukraine will stop. Russia's dependence on China has become so much more."
That's all for today.
