The situation in Ukraine
It has now been 891 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First of all,
here is an overview of the situation.
According to the latest announcement from the Ukrainian military headquarters,
the Russian military losses are as follows:
1,100 soldiers
3 tanks
8 armored fighting vehicles
42 artillery guns
2 multiple rocket launchers
37 drones
62 other vehicles
There were 117 reports of ground battles in a single day across the entire front line.
And the ratio of the number of Ukrainian military equipment losses that can be visually confirmed to the number of Russian military losses is 1 to 3.0,
meaning that the number of Russian losses is three times that of the Ukrainian side.
Russian losses are seen across a wide range of equipment,
including infantry fighting vehicles,
communications facilities,
tanks,
military trucks,
and civilian vans.
On the other hand,
there is no particular trend on the Ukrainian side.
Now,
let's take a look at the situation in each region.
We will focus on areas where there have been changes in the situation.
You can follow these changes along with the dates by displaying the full screen on a large screen.
Northeast: The Harkiv Area
We will report on the situation in the Harkiv area,
where the Russian military crossed the border and launched a military invasion in May.
The Russian army in this area launched eight attacks in Hlyboke and Vovtyansk,
but these attacks were repelled by the Ukrainian army,
and there was no information that affected the battle map.
Northeast: Luhansk Oblast
East: ChasivYar
We will report on the situation in the area from Kropyvnytskyi to ChasivYar.
In this area,
the Russian army launched 7 attacks in the Kupyansk area,
8 attacks on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
2 attacks in the vicinity of Siversk,
6 attacks in the vicinity of ChasivYar,
and 20 attacks in the direction of Tretyak.
Svatove-Kreminna line
In this area,
the 3rd Assault Brigade,
which had previously distinguished itself in the Battle of Bakhmut,
was deployed and defeated the Russian army in a series of battles.
According to the video with location information,
the Ukrainian army advanced in the direction of Serhiivka and captured the Russian army's position.
It was later discovered that the Russian army was counterattacking using drones.
The video you are watching was filmed by the Russian side,
and shows a drone observing the situation at the location shown on the map.
We have updated the battle map to show the Ukrainian army advancing to this location.
Siversk area
According to the Ukrainian General Staff,
the Russian army launched attacks on Spilne,
Ivanodarivka and Vymka,
but they were repelled by the Ukrainian army.
In this area,
the Russian military's attacks are on the decline,
and Russian military bloggers are reporting that "the Russian military is in a catastrophic situation,
and they are unable to advance due to the losses they are suffering from the Ukrainian military's drones one after another".
There are no changes to the battle map.
ChasivYar
In this area,
the Russian 98th Airborne Division and the Ukrainian 225th Battalion and 23rd Mechanized Brigade are fighting over a canal.
According to the video with location information,
the Russian army advanced in BMD4 infantry fighting vehicles and reached the location shown on the map,
but there they were damaged by a Ukrainian army drone and the vehicles were abandoned,
with several soldiers taken prisoner.
What you are looking at is a scene where the Russian BMD infantry fighting vehicle has charged at the location shown on the map and has been surrounded by Ukrainian military drones after crossing the canal.
There are no changes to the battle map.
Tretyak area
In this area,
both sides have created protrusions and are fighting a battle of offense and defense.
In the area of Nyu-York,
according to the video with location information,
the Ukrainian army is fighting back in the area shown on the map to the south of the station,
and it can be seen that this is the front line of the Ukrainian army.
What you are looking at is the Ukrainian army's Skara Battalion,
and they are in the process of surrounding and capturing the Russian soldiers in the location shown on the map.
The battle map has been updated to show that the Ukrainian army has recaptured this location and that the Russian army has advanced to this point.
In addition,
there is unconfirmed information that some Russian troops are advancing from Nyu-York in the direction of Oleksandropil.
South-East Donetsk Oblast
We will now report on the situation in the Avdiivka and Kravhov-Bremivka areas.
The weather in Avdiivka,
which affects the operation,
is sunny
with a minimum temperature of 18 degrees and a maximum temperature of 29 degrees
Today's weather is also forecast to be sunny.
High temperatures have continued across Ukraine for the past few days,
with some places reaching 40 degrees.
Avdiivka area
The Russian army has launched 43 attacks in this area and is making gradual progress.
Commenting on the Russian army's progress in this area,
Ukrainian army commander Shilsky said,
"The enemy has concentrated its most experienced assault troops in this area and is trying to break through to Pokrovsk with a meat attack,
regardless of losses," explaining the reason for the Russian army's progress in this area.
In addition,
President Zelensky pointed out that there are weaknesses in the Russian army's attack in this area due to a lack of replacement personnel,
replacement procedures,
and personnel and equipment.
On the other hand,
the Institute for War Studies pointed out that the Russian forces in this area were redeploying and deploying their troops more quickly than in other areas,
and also noted that the settlements were small and located in a terrain that was easy to advance down from the high ground at Avdiivka,
and that the Russian forces' advance speed would slow down in the future as they encountered larger settlements.
There is very little information available on this front,
so we will be reporting mainly on unconfirmed information.
First
The Russian army attacked Timofiyivka and captured the settlement.
We have updated the battle map to show the extent of the area occupied by the Russian army from the disputed territory.
Second
After that,
the Russian forces advanced in two directions,
to the south and west,
and are now sweeping through the area behind the Ukrainian forces' defensive line.
Some of the troops have split off and are heading towards the village of Lyshchyn.
The map you are looking at is a little out of date,
but it shows the area east of Lyshchyn belonging to the Ukrainian 151st Mechanized Brigade.
Incidentally,
this brigade was formed last October and deployed to this location.
Third
Vesele was captured by the advancing Russian forces.
According to the video with location information,
we can confirm that this location is under Russian control,
as Ukrainian military drones are attacking the village of Vesele.
This is the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
and the location is as shown on the map.
Fourth
The Russian Army is also advancing along the railway line towards the settlements of Zelenne and Serhiivka.
The area has been updated on the battle map as Russian-occupied territory.
5th
The small ring-shaped position between Bohche and Zelenne is controlled by the Ukrainian army,
and ground battles are taking place here.
On the other hand,
it appears that the large ring-shaped position further to the east has been taken by the Russian army.
Krakhov-Bremivka Area
In this area,
the Russian army launched 12 attacks in the Krahov area and 4 attacks in the Brehmivka area.
The Russian army in this area used a lot of mechanized attacks in the suburbs,
and they were repelled by the Ukrainian army.
In Palaskevych,
according to the video with location information,
the Russian army advanced into the village,
and the Ukrainian army eliminated them with a drone.
What you are looking at is a report on the situation from the Ukrainian military,
and shows the situation at the locations indicated on the map.
Since the Russian military have established a base at this location,
the area has been changed from disputed territory to Russian-occupied territory,
and Palaskevichi has been changed to a red mark to show that it has been occupied by the Russian military.
Elsewhere,
particularly along the O0532 road from Kostiantynivka to Vuhledar,
the Russian army is launching attacks in an attempt to reach this road,
but so far they have been detected and repelled by the Ukrainian army at the same time as the attacks,
so there are no changes to the battle map.
Rear Area
1st
In Nizhny Tagil,
which is close to the Ural Mountains,
a huge explosion occurred in an apartment building,
and the building was blown apart.
It is thought that the cause may have been a gas leak,
but rescue operations are currently underway as there are people under the rubble and voices can be heard.
Second
A fire has broken out at an oil facility in Omsk to the east of this,
and firefighting operations are underway.
This location is 2,400 km from the front line in Ukraine,
so it is unlikely to be a drone attack,
and the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
Third
There are reports of explosions occurring one after another throughout the Crimean Peninsula,
which is currently under Russian occupation.
The details are unknown.
Southern Zaporizhzhya Oblast
Southern province of Kherson
The Russian army launched nine attacks in this area,
but they were repelled by the Ukrainian army,
and there was no information that affected the battle map.
We will carefully select and provide you with news on the situation in Ukraine.
You can also use the YouTube chapter function to watch the parts you want to see.
1st
Regarding the F16s that we have been reporting on every day,
according to The Times,
the first to arrive were six from the Netherlands,
and several more are expected to arrive from Denmark soon.
The Telegraph also reported that,
after interviewing the Ukrainian military,
it is possible that they have already taken part in combat,
and that they may have been used to shoot down 90 Shahed suicide drones over Ukraine.
Meanwhile,
the War Institute has analyzed that it will take several months to use the F16s for routine air defense and long-range attack missions.
Second
In a recent video,
we reported that Chechen commander Andrei Audinov had appeared on Russian state television to talk about Russia's defeat,
and he has now appeared on Russian state television again to explain the situation in Ukraine.
The commander said,
"The war in Ukraine will soon be over.
Russia is preparing for an early end to the war,
and a peace agreement with Ukraine will be signed this year."
According to the article,
"Russia was unable to capture Kyiv,
and had to abandon Khrson and Zaporizhzhya and end the special military operation,
and the Kremlin plans to sign a peace agreement with Ukraine within the next six months."
He didn't say much about the reasons,
but he explained that "President Putin is a capable strategist and a great politician,
so he won't sign an agreement that would be harmful to the nation".
In addition,
according to Mr.
Ideman,
a dissident who is well-informed about the situation in Russia,
he pointed out that the Russian economy cannot last much longer,
that the recruitment of soldiers is decreasing,
and that they are running out of military equipment from the Soviet era,
so they lack the resources to invade Ukraine.
That's all for today.
Please feel free to share your thoughts on the analysis of the battle situation,
news,
and the latest information in the comments section.
