みなさんこんにちは。台風が通り過ぎた9月2回目の週末を過ごしている、ハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のspinnageです。今週もここ東京の部屋から、世界の新築ハウスミュージックをチェックしていきます。

Hello everyone. I'm spinnage, the director of the house music lounge Akihabara Housing, Ltd. spending the second weekend in September after the typhoon has passed. I'll be checking out new-built house music from around the world from my room here in Tokyo.

ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

All of the songs I will be featuring here are songs that I actually purchased as downloads. I chose these songs in a serious competition. Let's get started!

Weekly House Expo: 新築ハウスレビュー｜寺本秀雄（spinnage / spinn）｜note

1) Jimpster, Crackazat - Natural Child (Dub)

スウェーデン・ウプサラの彗星・Crackazatと、Freerangeを率いるJimpsterのコラボepがリリースされました。先行曲「Natural Child」のダブバージョンが、ソリッドなリズムと蕩けるようなドリーミーさのマリアージュで最高です。

A collaborative ep from Uppsala, Sweden comet Crackazat and Freerange-led Jimpster has just been released. The dub version of the earlier track 'Natural Child' is a great marriage of solid rhythm and debauched dreaminess.

2) Chromeo - Replacements (feat. La Roux) Dave Lee's Destination Boogie Mix

Chromeoの「Replacements」を、ロンドンでZ records を率いるDave Leeがリミックス。ポップな中にもファンクネスがあって嬉しいトラックです。スラップベースがいいスパイスになってる。リラックスして聞けます。

Chromeo's 'Replacements' is remixed by Dave Lee, who heads Z records in London. The track has a nice funkiness in the pop. The slap bass is a nice spice. You can relax and listen to it.

3) Demarkus Lewis - Con Te Lo

かっこいい！　ダラスの鉄人・Demarkus Lewisの「Con Te Lo」。繊細なモーションで音のタペストリーを編み上げてます。素敵。

Cool!　'Con Te Lo' by Dallas iron man Demarkus Lewis. He weaves a tapestry of sound with delicate motions. Lovely.

4) Opolopo, Jaki Graham - Fire

スウェーデン・ストックホルムの魔術師、Opolopoの新曲「Fire」。Jaki Grahamをフィーチャリングした極上のソウルフルハウスです。最高！

New track from Stockholm, Sweden wizard Opolopo, 'Fire', a superb soulful house track featuring Jaki Graham. Best for!

5) Criss Korey - On Top (Sebb Junior Remix)

スペイン・グラナダのSebb Juniorがリミックスを手がけた、Criss Korey「On Top」。ピアノリフが気持ちいい華やかなトラック。気に入りました。

6) Wipe The Needle - Don't Need Nothing

ロンドンのWipe The Needleの「Don't Need Nothing」。ロンドンという街の基礎音楽力の高さを感じさせる華麗なブロークンビーツ。

7) Miguel Migs - Close Your Eyes feat. Meshell Ndegeocello (Migs Corsica Skyline Remix)

2011年リリースの「Close Your Eyes」をMiguel Migsが自らリミックス。スラップベースが跳ね、現代的な音像で蘇り、ポップにも聴ける素敵トラックです。

Miguel Migs remixes the 2011 release 'Close Your Eyes' himself. The slap bass bounces and is revived with a modern soundscape and a nice pop track.

8) Anoesis - Callisto

ロンドン郊外レッチワースのプロデューサー、Anoesisの「Callisto」。重ねられていくコードのプログレッションが気持ちいい。歪んだキックに、デトロイトテクノのフレーバーも感じる。気に入りました。

'Callisto' by Anoesis, a producer from the London suburb of Letchworth. The progression of layered chords is pleasant. The distorted kick also has a Detroit techno flavour. Liked.

9) Alex Belluscio, Sonidy - Deep Down Inside

スイスのベルンを拠点とするAlex BelluscioとロンドンのプロデューサーSonidyによる「Deep Down Inside」。フィルターが開閉するシンセサウンドのリフレインが素敵。

'Deep Down Inside' by Bern, Switzerland-based Alex Belluscio and London producer Sonidy. Lovely synth refrain with filters opening and closing.

10) Zcelli Forever - Alma Rej (Leeni & Danilo Kupfernagel Remix)

ベルリンを拠点とするLeeniとDanilo Kupfernagelがリミックスを手がけた、Zcelli Foreverの「Alma Rej」。硬質な骨格を持つ、堅牢なディープテック。格好いい。

'Alma Rej' by Zcelli Forever, remixed by Berlin-based Leeni and Danilo Kupfernagel. Robust deep tech with a hard skeleton. Cool.

【Track of the Week】Opolopo, Jaki Graham - Fire

今週の「Track of the Week」はこの曲に決めました。パワフルなソウルフルハウスというだけでなく、Opolopoらしい繊細かつ大胆なアレンジのエッセンスがちりばめられたディープなハウスでもあります。最高！

I've decided on this track for this week's Track of the Week. Not only is it powerful soulful house, it's also deep house with the essence of Opolopo's typical subtle and bold arrangements. Best for!

この曲のかんたんなメイキング動画をOpolopoがアップリードしていて、繰り返しみてしまっただけでなく、Behringerのモジュラーシンセ「Neutron」をこの動画きっかけで買いました。勉強させていただいてます！

Opolopo uploaded a brief making-of video for this song, which not only made me watch it again and again, but also made me buy Behringer's Neutron modular synth because of this video. I'm learning a lot!

New Release!

8月24日に、フランス・リールのOHMELYA Musicより僕の新譜「Dawn E.P.」がリリースされました。新曲「Dawn」「Maneye」の2曲に加え、レーベルオーナー・CEV'sによる「Dawn」のリミックスも収録されています。みなさま、ぜひぜひ応援よろしくお願いします！

My new digital ep 'Dawn' was released on 24 August on OHMELYA Music in Lille, France. In addition to two new tracks, 'Dawn' and 'Maneye', it also includes a remix of 'Dawn' by the label owner CEV's. I would like to thank you all for your support!
