AHL Weekly House Expo Sep.17-Sep.18: 週刊新築ハウスレビュー

こんにちは。ハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のspinnageです。沖縄・九州・西日本を強力な台風が襲っていて心配な9月3週目の週末ですが、今週も東京より世界から届いた素敵な新築ハウスミュージックを紹介していきます。

Hello. This is spinnage, the director of the House Music Lounge "Akihabara Housing, Ltd." It's the third weekend in September, a worrying time with a powerful typhoon hitting Okinawa, Kyushu, and western Japan, but from Tokyo, I will continue to introduce wonderful new-built house music that has arrived from around the world.

ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

All of the songs I will be featuring here are songs that I actually purchased as downloads. I chose these songs in a serious competition. Let's get started!

1) Alex Poet, Hannah Khemoh - Never Had A Love (Sebb Junior Remix)

ロンドンのプロデューサー、Alex Poetの「Never Had A Love」を、スペイン・グラナダの伊達男Sebb Juniorがリミックス。ソウルフルなボーカルにSebb Juniorらしい清涼なトラックが映える。

London producer Alex Poet's "Never Had A Love" has been remixed by Granada, Spain's cool guy, Sebb Junior. The soulful vocals are complemented by Sebb Junior's signature cool and refreshing track.

2) Zetbee - No No

前の曲と同様、カナダ・トロントのPhoenix Musicからリリースされた、チェコ・ブルノのプロデューサー・Zetbeeの「No No」。これもZetbeeならではの透明感にあふれたトラックです。エレピのリフレインが気持ちいい！

Like the previous track, "No No" is from Czech Brno producer Zetbee, released on Phoenix Music in Toronto, Canada. This is another track full of Zetbee's unique transparency. That electric piano refrain is a nice touch!

3) Jordi Cabrera - See Me So (Original Mix)

スペイン・バルセロナのプロデューサー、Jordi Cabreraの「Se Me So」。甘くドリーミーなコードワークとボーカルが、重心の低いトラックの上で華やかに展開します。

"Se Me So" by Barcelona, Spain producer Jordi Cabrera. The sweet, dreamy chord work and vocals are gorgeous over a low center of gravity track.

4) Lubelski - Vowels (Renato Cohen Remix)

LAのプロデューサー・Lubelskiによる、1度聞いたら忘れられない強烈なインディーダンス「Vowel」を、ブラジル・サンパウロのRenato Cohenがさらにダンサブルにリミックス。気に入りました。

A Renato Cohen of São Paulo, Brazil, remixed more danceable remix of "Vowel," a strong indie dance song by LA producer Lubelski that you won't forget once you hear it. I love it.

5) CEV's - Aidan

フランス・リールのTranscendanceのレーベルコンピ「We Are United」に収録された、このレーベルを率いるCEV'sの「Aidan」。クリスタルクリアにカットされたシンセのきらめきが心地良い。最高。

"Aidan" by CEV's, who lead the label, was included on Transcendance's "We Are United" label compilation from Lille, France. The crystal clear cut synths sparkle pleasantly. Best.

6) Ken@Work - Cadillac Sunshine

オーストラリア・メルボルンのプロデューサー、Ken@Workの「Cadillac Sunshine」。派手なタイトルに相応しい、垂直にキックが振り下ろされるファンキーなベースに彩られたNu Disco。いいね！

"Cadillac Sunshine" by Melbourne, Australia producer Ken@Work. Nu Disco, with a funky bass and kicks swinging down vertically, befitting of its flashy title.

7) Robin Fett - Meteora

オランダ・アムステルダムのプロデューサー、Robin Fettの「Meteora」。90年代スタイルのビートの響きが嬉しいディープテックです。

"Meteora" by Amsterdam, Netherlands producer Robin Fett is a delightful deep tech with the echoes of a 90's style beat.

8) Party Pupils - Break It Down

LAのプロデューサー、Party Pupilsの「Break It Down」。憎いほど軽快。気に入りました。

"Break It Down" by LA producer Party Pupils. Hatefully lighthearted. Loved it.

9) Henrik Villard - I See U

Ross Couchが彼のチャートで選んでた、ノルウェー・オスロのプロデューサー、Hnerik Villardの「I See U」。90年代クラシックハウスのニュアンスも漂う、おだやかなハウスです。

Ross Couch's chart pick, "I See U" by Oslo, Norway producer Hnerik Villard, is a gentle house tune with hints of classic 90s house.

10) M-scape - What He Gets

日本の大阪を拠点にするプロデューサー、M-Scapeの「What He Gets」。ジャジーでめちゃめちゃ格好いい。同じ国に住んでるのにいままでノーチェックだったの恥ずかしい。これから全力でフォローしていきたいと思います!

"What He Gets" by Osaka, Japan-based producer M-Scape. It's jazzy and really cool. I'm ashamed that I didn't check it out until now, even though we live in the same country. I will do my best to follow him from now on!

「今週の1曲」にはひときわクールで最高なこの曲を選びました。自分の住んでる国のアーティストなのにチェック漏れてたの迂闊でした。これからも、広い視野で素敵新築ハウスを探していかなきゃいけないなと思いました。

I chose this cool and awesome song for "Track of the Week." I was careless not to check it out even though it is an artist from my home country. I will have to continue to look for nice new-built houses from now on with a broad perspective.

来る9月22日の夜、東京・秋葉原のMOGRAで開催される「Where's your House」というイベントにゲストDJとして出演します。錚々たるDJ・VJ陣に囲まれて緊張気味ですが😎、僕の考える最強のディープハウスセットで臨むつもりです。ぜひ遊びにきてください！

On the evening of September 22, I will be a guest DJ at an event called "Where's your House" at MOGRA in Akihabara, Tokyo. Actually I'm a bit nervous surrounded by eminent DJs and VJs😎, but I'm planning to play what I consider to be the ultimate deep house set. Please come and dance!
