飛行機に乗るとき、羽田空港でなく、成田空港の国内線ＬCＣを使っている
私は、ここ２０年ほど、旅行したことがない。
せいぜい、郷里に帰省するときしか長距離移動しない。
帰省の交通手段を、費用の安い順で並べると、以下のようになる。
1.深夜バス
2.成田空港発ＬＣＣ
3.ＪＲ（新幹線と在来線）
4.羽田空港発ＡＮＡまたはＪＡＬ
深夜バスにはまだ乗ったことが無いし、今後も乗らないだろう。
費用は１万円程度だけれど、約１２時間座るのは、しんどい。
ＪＲルートは何度も使った。
しかし、ある時から乗るのを止めた。
岡山からの在来線特急の車両が、古びたアンパンマン列車の転用だったから。内装も外装も、タイトル写真のような絵を中途半端に消したせいで、薄汚れて見えた。
普通列車のほうが、よほど居心地がよかった。
羽田空港発のＡＮＡやＪＡＬの飛行機も何回か利用した。問題は、羽田空港から地方空港に行く飛行機の搭乗口が、電車の駅から遠いことだった。
大阪や札幌などへ行く便とは明らかに差別されていた。
また、搭乗口からバスに乗り換えることも多かった。
このバスは、乗り合いバスと同様で、上に棚が無く、荷物をかかえるか、足元に置くことになる。そして、不運な人は座れない。
それに、飛行機までの距離が長い。
羽田に戻ってきたとき、「バスに乗ってください」と言われるとがっかりしたものだ。
ということで、ここ最近は、成田空港のＬＣＣ便を利用している。
成田空港までは遠いが、それにも慣れた。ここに書いたように成田エクスプレスを使えば、新宿から乗り換えなしで、成田空港に行ける。
成田空港でも、時折、搭乗口からタラップまでバスに乗ることはある。
けれども、羽田空港の場合より距離が短い。
気になるのは、タラップの階段を上り下りするときだ。
今は大丈夫だが、将来、足が弱っても何とかなるだろうか。
航空会社もそれなりの対応を用意している。私はまだ、車いすのお客さんを空港で見たことはないが。

When I board a plane, I use the domestic LCC at Narita Airport instead of Haneda Airport.
I haven't traveled in the past 20 years. At most, I only travel long distances when I go back to my hometown.
The following are the means of transportation for returning home, arranged in descending order of cost:
Late night bus
LCC from Narita Airport
JR (Shinkansen and conventional lines)
ANA or JAL from Haneda Airport
I have never ridden a late-night bus, and I doubt I ever will. The cost is about 10,000 yen, but sitting for about 12 hours is tiring.
I have used the JR route many times. However, at some point I stopped riding. The train on the conventional line from Okayama was a repurposed old Anpanman train. Both the interior and exterior looked dirty because the pictures like the title photo had been half-erased. The local train was much more comfortable.
I also took ANA and JAL flights departing from Haneda Airport several times.
The problem was that the boarding gate for the plane going from Haneda Airport to the local airport was far from the train station. It was clearly differentiated from flights going to places like Osaka and Sapporo. In addition, passengers were often forced to transfer to buses at the boarding gate. This bus is similar to a shared bus, with no shelves on top, so you either have to carry your luggage or place it at your feet. And the unlucky ones can't sit down. Also, the distance to the plane is long. When I returned to Haneda, I used to be disappointed when I was asked to take the bus.
So lately, I've been using LCC flights from Narita Airport. It's a long way from my house to Narita Airport, but I've gotten used to it. As I wrote here, if you use the Narita Express, you can go to Narita Airport from Shinjuku without changing trains.
Even at Narita Airport, I sometimes take a bus from the boarding gate to the gangway. However, the distance is shorter than that of Haneda Airport.
What worries me is when I go up and down the gangway stairs. I'm fine now, but I wonder if I'll be able to handle it if my legs become weaker in the future.
Airlines also have accommodations for people with disabilities. I haven't seen anyone in a wheelchair at an airport yet.
