どんな感染症でも「スーパースプレッダー」は、いるのだろうか

私の同僚の一家が、ほとんど全員『あの病気』に感染してしまいました。
先の記事に書いたように、このウィルスは偏在しているのでしょう。
熱がでて、喉が痛いそうです。
一家の誰か感染すると、他の家族にもうつる可能性が高いのかもしれません（「写ルんです」と言っている場合じゃないですね）。

この記事によると、オミクロン株に対応した新しいワクチンの接種が１０月半ばから始まるそうです。

このワクチンに期待していいのかどうか、よくわかりません。不安ですが、４回目のワクチンはパスしても、このワクチンはしないといけないかな、と思っています（パスするというと、なんだか走り高跳びのようですが）。

ところで、感染拡大当初、「スーパースプレッダー」という言葉を聞きましたが、最近はあまり聞かなくなりました。

スーパー・スプレッダー（super-spreader）は、感染症を引き起こす病原体に感染したホストのうち、通常考えられる以上の二次感染例を引き起こす者を指す。

しかし、この記事によると、『あの病気』のスーパースプレッダーはやはりいるそうです。

サンプル数が増えると、わかることも増えてくるのでしょう。

私が大学生だったころ、「スーパースプレッダー」だと思う人に遭遇しました。もちろん、『あの病気』の「スーパースプレッダー」ではありません。

私の通った大学では、時々無料で、そこそこ新しい映画を見せてもらうことができました。唯一覚えているのは、アラン・パーカー監督の『ダウンタウン物語』だけですが、これは面白かったです。

ところで、これとは違う映画を見ていた時、隣席の男は咳き込んでいました。何となく嫌な感じはしたのですが、最後まで映画を見続けて帰りました。
しかし、その晩、急に３８度の熱が出ました。

すぐに寝て、翌朝起きたら、平熱に下がっていました。
今でも不思議な感じがします。
隣に座っていた男以外に原因は考えられませんが、もしそうだとすると、とても強い感染力でした。
そんな時に映画を見に来るなよ、と思ったものです。

According to this article, new vaccinations for the Omicron strain will begin in mid-October.

I'm not sure if I should expect this vaccine. I'm worried, but even if I pass the 4th vaccine, I think I'll have to do this one (passing sounds like a high jump).

By the way, at the beginning of the spread of infection, I heard the word "super-spreader", but I haven't heard it much lately.

A super-spreader is a host infected with an infectious agent that causes more secondary infections than would normally be expected.

The more samples we have, the more we can learn.

When I was in college, I ran into a man I thought was a "super-spreader." Of course, it is not the "super-spreader" of "That Disease".

At my university, we were sometimes shown a reasonably new movie for free. The only movie I remember is Alan Parker's "Bugsy Malone", which was fun.

By the way, when I was watching a different movie, the man next to me was coughing. I felt bad for some reason, but I kept watching the movie until the end and went home. However, that night, I suddenly had a fever of 38 degrees.

I went to bed right away, and when I woke up the next morning, I had a normal temperature. It still feels strange. I can't think of anything other than the guy sitting next to me, but if so, it was very contagious. I thought, "Hey guy, don't come to see the movie in that bad condition."
