もはや幻のように思える２０２１年の東京オリンピック
２０２１年に行われた東京オリンピックは、すでに私にとっては幻です。何だかよそのどこかで行われた儀式のようです。ましてや、国立競技場をどうするかでもめたことなどは、昔話です。
また、これの記録映画が今年、２回に分けて公開されましたが、両方とも不入りでした（SIDE：Bについては、明確に言い切った記事が見つかりませんでした。関係者が、あまり言いたくないのかもしれません）。
（『SIDE：A』の）オープニング3日間の動員は1万2208人、興収は1667万1600円、土日2日間の興収は約1200万円。同時期の『トップガン マーヴェリック』の約1.5%の数字である。
『SIDE：B』公開後3日間の記録は、動員数が約6877人、興収が約937万1800円と言われています。
この映画の内容は、ほとんど話題にもなりませんでした。しかし、ＮＨＫが映画作成現場を取材して放送した内容に、重大な放送倫理違反があった、と指摘されています。
また、この映画の監督は、撮影現場で暴力を働いたという記事が出ました。なお、この人は東京大学の入学式でスピーチをしたが、そのひどい内容については、以前この記事で書いた通りでした。
さらに今になって、この儀式を取り仕切った者の一部が、業者から賄賂をもらった、ということで逮捕されています。なかなかすっきりと忘れさせてくれません。
醜聞だらけで、何の価値があったのかまったくわからないオリンピックでした。
仮に今、東京オリンピックに関するアンケートを行ったらどういう回答が多くなるかわからないが、NHKが２０２１年の９月から１０月に行ったアンケートでは、「開催してよかった」が52％、「さらに延期したほうがよかった」が25％、「中止したほうがよかった」が22％だったそうです。
一方、１９６４年の東京オリンピックについて、ウィキペディアには、以下のように書かれている。開催までは、歓迎する人は少なかったのに、テレビで日本チームが勝つのを見たことで、９割の人がやってよかった、と評価したそうです。
東京オリンピック開催4ヶ月前の6月上旬、日本放送協会放送世論調査所（現・NHK放送文化研究所世論調査部）が東京と金沢市で事前の世論調査を行った。「オリンピックには大変な費用がかかるので、いろいろな点で国民に負担をかけ、犠牲を払わせている」（東京60.6％、金沢53.7％）「オリンピック準備のために一般市民のかんじんなことがお留守になっている」（東京49％、金沢29％）、「オリンピックに多くの費用をかけるぐらいなら、今の日本でしなければいけないことはたくさんあるはずだ」（東京58.9％、金沢47.1％）、「オリンピックは結構だが、わたしには別になんの関係もない」（東京47.1％、金沢54.3％）など、圧倒的な国民の支持に熱狂的に迎えられていた訳ではなかった。（中略）もっとも大会直後の調査では、「オリンピックは日本にプラスだったか」の問いに、89.8％が「プラスだったと思う」と答えている。空気を変えたのは、開催前年（1963年）から新聞社（全国紙）や総理府（現・内閣府）を中心に行われた「盛り上げキャンペーン」や聖火リレーなどのイベントに加えて、開幕後も技の魅力、興奮であり、自国開催のリアルタイムで複数競技が相互に関係しながら同時進行する、総合競技大会の魔力に国民がくぎ付けになったことがあげられる。大会終盤、日本が団体を制した体操男子は視聴率80％、「東洋の魔女」が優勝した女子バレーボールの決勝は85％を記録した。
この記事によると、この頃は白黒テレビが９０％程度まで普及していて、全国の家庭で、テレビにくぎ付けになったのだと思う。

The 2021 Tokyo Olympics has become an illusion
The 2021 Tokyo Olympics is already a phantom for me. It's like some sort of ritual somewhere else. Furthermore, the dispute over what to do with the National Stadium is an old story.
Also, this documentary film was released in two parts this year, but both were unsuccessful (I couldn't find a clear article about SIDE: B. The people involved may not want to say too much.)
("SIDE: A") mobilized 12,208 people during the opening three days, box office revenue was 16,671,600 yen, and box office revenue for two days on Saturday and Sunday was about 12 million yen. That's about 1.5% of the "Top Gun Maverick" of the same period.
The record for the three days after the release of "SIDE: B" is said to be about 6,877 people mobilized and about 9,371,800 yen in box office revenue.
The content of the film was almost non-existent. However, it has been pointed out that there was a serious violation of broadcasting ethics in the content that NHK broadcasted after interviewing the film production site.
Also, an article appeared that the director of this movie was violent on set. In addition, this person gave a speech at the entrance ceremony of the University of Tokyo, but the terrible content was as I wrote in this article before.
Moreover, some of the people who presided over the ceremony have now been arrested for accepting bribes from vendors. It doesn't seem to make me forget easily.
It was an Olympics riddled with scandals and no idea what it was worth.
I don't know what kind of answers you'll get if you do a questionnaire about the Tokyo Olympics now.
However, in a survey conducted by NHK from September to October 2021, 52% said, "I'm glad it was held," 25% said, "They should have postponed it further," and 22% said, "They should have canceled it." .
On the other hand, regarding the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, Wikipedia says: Until the tournament was held, few people welcomed it, but after watching the Japanese team win on TV, 90% of the people said they were glad they did it.
In early June, four months before the opening of the Tokyo Olympics, the Japan Broadcasting Corporation Broadcasting Public Opinion Research Institute (currently the NHK Broadcasting Culture Research Institute Public Opinion Research Department) conducted preliminary opinion polls in Tokyo and Kanazawa.

However, in a survey conducted immediately after the Games, 89.8% answered, "I think it was a plus," when asked, "Was the Olympics a plus for Japan?"
What changed the atmosphere was the "Enlivening Campaign" and events such as the torch relay, which were carried out mainly by newspaper companies (national newspapers) and the Prime Minister's Office (currently the Cabinet Office) from the year before the opening (1963). It is also the attraction and excitement of the techniques, and the fact that the people are glued to the magical power of the multi-sport tournament, in which multiple sports are interrelated and progress simultaneously in real time, is held in the home country.
At the end of the tournament, the audience rating for the men's gymnastics, where Japan won the team, was 80%, and the final for the women's volleyball, which was won by "Toyo no Majo", was 85%.
According to this article, black-and-white TVs were 90% popular in this era, and I think almost all households were watching TV.
