最初のころは、「支払いはペイペイで」と言うのがなぜか恥ずかしかった
けれども、今はそうでもない。PayPayで支払う人が増えたし、慣れてしまったのだろう。
ところで先日、PayPayで支払おうとしたら、残高不足の表示が出た。ポイント残高が十分あるのに、なぜ？と思った。
その場は、慌てずおもむろに、クレジットカード払いに設定して、支払った。
帰宅して調べると、PayPayの「その他のお知らせ」の中に、「使い方設定が「貯める」になります」という名前で見つかった。
このお知らせを見た人や、これを見て対応した人は、どれくらいいただろう？
本変更は、クレジット（旧あと払い）でのお支払い時に、ユーザーがPayPayポイントを意図せず利用してしまう事を防ぐための対応となります。
私は、ポイントがたまったら、ポイントで買い、ポイントが無い場合はクレジットを選んでいる。その操作は、最初に表示される画面で行うだけだ。意図して使っているのに、お知らせを出すだけで設定を勝手に変えられると、困ってしまう。
１１月２８日から１２月５日まで、だらだらと設定変更していくという。PayPayは何を考えているんだ？
この画面の「支払いに使う」に設定を戻したので、次の支払い時に、想定通りになるかどうか確認が必要だ。
めんどくさいことだ。

How many people saw this notice or took action after seeing it?
This change is to prevent users from unintentionally using PayPay points when paying by credit card (formerly known as deferred payment).
When I have enough points, I buy with them, and when I don't have any points, I choose credit. All you have to do is operate on the first screen that appears. Even though I intended to use it, it would be a problem if the settings could be changed without permission just by issuing a notification.
The settings will be changed slowly from November 28th to December 5th. What is PayPay thinking?
Since I changed the setting to "Use for payment" on this screen, I need to check whether it works as expected the next time I make a payment.
It's a hassle.
